Beautiful ground. Discovered a walking trail close to the hotel which is a nice surprise of having more green space in the proximity. Bathroom is spacious and water pressure is good. Bed is very comfortable. Breakfast, not included in the room rate, was offered at an additional $10. Breakfast is very good - freshly prepared items with good variety. The made to order omelette station is wonderful.

The room doors are quite dated, which makes the first impression not all that appealing. It would be nice if the room rate includes breakfast.

Location, building style and neighborhood. Very close to western university.

There’s a 100 $ it’s a must you have to pay it during your check in. Even when I told them I will pay on spot if I use the restaurant or for any damage. However the problem is it take long time to get this money back in your credit card I checked in 3 times in month and for approximately 17 days and every time I have to pay and they always saying it’s the policy and we can not change it. If so then they have also to return the money on spot on the credit card. Now more than 10 days most of the money I didn’t receive. Also Booking.com they have to write the policies for hotels very clearly.

2 nights with 3 adults in a room with 2 double beds: - Bedding was comfortable - Shower and bath were valuable - Room was clean, but they missed an opportunity to change our bedding... - They have a pool table at the bar!! It's not an incredible table, but it's pretty cool for a hotel... - Staff was superbly friendly and helpful!!! Bless their soles! - Parking was wide open, right in front of the front entrance, only a hundred metres from the main entrance, with no parking pass or ticket required! Park wherever you want!

- They could've offered to change our bedding once, but it was no big deal in a 2-night stay - No microwave in the room - Duck was a little tough.... the pork chop was substantially better, but rest assured, that's an outstanding pork chop! - The waiter COULDN'T DESCRIBE THE MENU TO ME!!! He shamelessly admitted to me that he was "new here" and didn't know what the menu was like

The hotel turned out to be so much more than just a place to crash for the night. I was only expecting a quiet, clean, and warm bed before moving into my new house, but I got so much more! The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful park with big, beautiful trees and charming red buildings. The vibe was totally different from other hotels I’ve stayed at. A lot of the guests seemed to be scholars visiting Western University, which gave the place this cool, academic feel—focused, professional, but also really calm. It felt relaxing in a way I didn’t expect. The bed was super comfy and spotless, and the little touches really stood out. I loved the shampoo and conditioner (pretty sure it was Babor); it smelled amazing and felt so nice. Overall, it was such a great experience!

Historic large property, would have loved to see it in the daylight, but the buildings are well maintained, it's a little like walking through a museum with posters of the estate's history.

Sheets were washed but had a yellow ish stain, it was something that had clearly been attempted to be removed and was faint, but still is uncomfortable to see, I can't really be too upset as I placed a pillow over it and slept on the other side with out saying anything. But everything else was well cared for.

Beautiful property well maintained, lots of history. Great spot to stay with your dog

We asked for a slightly later check out (12:30pm) due to work course until 12. They agreed to 12pm as they said they are fully booked on check in but we received a knock on the door at 11:45 am essentially asking us when we planned on leaving. We found this rude and unprofessional and left a poor taste in an otherwise pleasant trip.

Ended up having unexpectedly having Breakfast at the location. Food and food offerings were excellent and an unexpected benefit. Staff was professional and helpful in all aspects. Well worth the 20% voluntary gratuity.

Entrance through no fault of the facility was under construction. Service and facilities more than made up for this temporary inconvenience. Have been elsewhere where such renovations "upgrades" have effected the whole demeanour of the property and services offered. Not so here!

I like staying here a lot, the staff are lovely and the beds are very comfortable. The old building is very charming and it’s far enough away from downtown London that I feel very safe. I will be coming to stay again if I’m back in the area.

My one and only issue was I was put in a room that faced a wedding happening out in the lawn, and the music was going until midnight. Given I was travelling for work and had to be up the next morning, it was inconvenient.

Loved this property! My son is in second year at Western and we’ve stayed at a few different properties while visiting at various times. Well..we will now ALWAYS stay here! The place was clean, bed was comfy and it was quiet; everything we need for a great stay. Staff went out of their way to help and it was super close to Western.

I like the quietness. It was what I needed. A quiet getaway. Rooms were clean. Room service top notch. Customer care superb.

The lights kept tripping off and on, had to change rooms twice- still the lights will just suddenly trip off. They had toiletries in all room but there should be provision for a pocket size toothbrush and paste- just in case one forgets his or her toothbrush and paste.
