This hotel is in a great off the main road location, less than 5 kms from Penetang, making it a good overnighter for anyone taking the boat cruise. Being a light sleeper, I requested a room in a quiet area. I got one! When booking, I didn't realize the hotel had a pool, nor did I realize that breakfast (hot & cold items) was included. The staff were friendly & efficient. A special shout out to the busy young lady taking care of the breakfast area who directed me to an out of the way water cooler to fill my water bottle!!!

Very good hotel. I would like to note the attentive attitude, care of the administrators, cleanliness in the rooms, lobby, pool, gym, room. Silence during your stay at the hotel. The room is spacious, the beds are comfortable, wide, three pillows, soft mattress. Hair dryer, air conditioner, all sockets, TV, microwave, refrigerator work. There is a coffee maker, ironing board and iron, table and two chairs. Breakfast: scrambled eggs, yogurt, sausages, waffles, sandwiches, fruits, juices. Juice, tea and coffee 24/7. I will come again in the summer

Everything is ok

The location is right beside A&W and Starbucks, walking distance to easily grab some food. There is a pool, hot tub and gym in the building to use. The complimentary breakfast included waffles, scrambled eggs, sausages, cereal, fruit, yogurt, bread, coffee and juices. The heater in the room also worked really strongly.

The TV didn't turn on in my room. And the walls were quite thin, I could hear the neighbors talking in the middle of the night and cars driving by the window.

We loved the location as it was close to everything. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. It was a relaxing vacation for us. Breakfast was good and served hot eggs, sausage, fries, baked beans. There was great coffee and orange juice, banana etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We didn't like the weather but the hotel couldn't help that. lol. There could be more Gluten free options and they had no GF bread or muffins. There could have been coffee on all day like other hotels. You could get tea with hot water and a tea bag.

The staff were wonderful! They accommodated my need for an accessible room. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning.

There were a few challenges for my handicap. Not to sound like Goldilocks, but the bed was too high to get into, the toilet was too low and the bathroom needed an additional grab bar. A small step stool beside the bed would help me get up.

Great breakfast which also saved us tons of time. Everything is functional and working in the hotel. The room even had microwave and mini refregirator all of which we used to warm up dinner for kids. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Door card readers take several swipes to open. Although we are family of four stayed in the room somehow they only gave us two bath towels day after day. No issues getting additional towels of course.

Breakfast included was great to have available. All day coffee available in lobby was fantastic. Room was clean. Staff was always friendly. Location was great for the town of Midland and close to many other small towns for day time outings.

As a non-smoker, felt that the smoking areas could be placed elsewhere, perhaps behind the building, instead of just outside the front entrance. I never felt like I could sit outside with a book since the benches outside the front entrance were always occupied with smokers. Or, optionally, perhaps have outdoor chairs on the grassy area beside the building for guests who wish to sit outside away from the smokers' benches next to the front entrance.

LOCATION - incredibly good location, a lot of stores around Good breakfast - eggs, sausages, beans, breakfast potatoes, waffles, cereals, bananas, apples, bagel, loaf, coffee, juice Room - clean Pet friendly - we were given the first floor because of our dog, convenient to get him outside

Toilet sink - slow to drain

The front desk staff, a gal named Ally, did an amazing job of helping us. What a gem they have in that staff person. She was professional, kind, and so calm in the face of me being exasperated. Five stars just for her. I wish Id gotten her last name, but please make sure management knows how truly exceptional she is.

Got charged an extra night .The manager says it's Booking .com , and Booking.com never responded back. But they asked for my credit card at the counter as I was walking by. They said it was to confirm a booking. Done with it. Also the pool is not a pool. It's like an extra large tub.
