It is a charming hotel with great decor and environment inside and out. It gives a very cool vibe. I loved the location best.

I thought the price was almost outrageous. I realize it is in a terrific area code and maybe the prices are comparable to other similar properties, but I found it to be excessively priced and I am a very seasoned traveler. I also was not in love with the general culture of the staff and help. They did not have that positive customer oriented, how can I help you? Type of attitude that many top quality hotels in still in their people. I wasn’t treated rudely, but there was a coldness and a lack of attentiveness that bothered me.

A very good experience and the staff were excellent - I have no bad points to mention. My only constructive feedback, to booking.com would be that the premium king room was described as having a 'seating area', the room had a desk chair and one other chair in the corner of the room. The photos on booking.com made it appear like there was a small sofa in a nook of the room... I felt that this was misleading.

We paid for breakfast, I didn't realise this was a breakfast voucher for $25 per person - again this could have been made clearer when making the booking. It didn't affect my trip at all or, my view of the hotel but, Booking.com should make this crystal clear when making the booking

The staff were incredibly kind and were able to accommodate us arriving early. There were a lot of complimentary bonuses included in our stay including beach towels and chairs at the closest beach, a beach bag to use, 2 hour bike rental, and $20 each towards breakfast at the beautiful restaurant right downstairs (which covered our entire meal). The rooftop at sunset had the most gorgeous views and was a perfect place to grab a drink after the beach before walking close by for dinner. The location is perfect for those who do not have a rental car or want to take Ubers!

We only ate breakfast there once but it was very good. The staff was exceptionally friendly, from check-in to any and all service staff. Always smiling and always said hello. Everything was very clean. We didn't use the lower pool but the rooftop pool area was fabulous! We used it often. Bar staff were very friendly. Our room was very clean and spacious. Housekeeping came by daily and took any trash, replaced towels and remade the beds. The beds were a bit soft, but I like to cozy-up, so that was fine with me. P.S. Use Ride Circuit when you need to get around Ft. Lauderdale-they're free!!

The flooring in our room was a bit rough. I think it was parquet and it seems like it has been damp at one time as some of the planks were loose and curled up a bit. Not a huge issue, but hopefully they will look into it. We were in 119. Also, there were no facilities to do laundry. I think this is a huge need since they are so close to the beach.

The facilities were wonderful. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast one morning and it was amazing!! The rooftop pool was incredible, very relaxing and unique. Drink and food were good! Bed was comfortable, room was clean, shower was big. Close to the beach, quick walk to the free chairs that were set up already, just had to bring the towels so it made every being super convenient! The beach chairs were located in front of a great restaurant where we had lunch, also easy access bathrooms. The beach was super nice and clean. Great stay, we loved staying here and want to return !!

We recently stayed at the Kimpton Shorebreak in Fort Lauderdale and were genuinely impressed. From the moment we arrived, the staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. Every interaction, from the front desk to the rooftop bar, was friendly, professional, and personal. The rooftop pool and bar are the real showstoppers. The views of the Intracoastal Waterway are stunning, especially at sunset. It’s the perfect place to unwind with a cocktail after a day at the beach.

f I had to note one area for improvement, it would be the room soundproofing. While the hotel itself is quiet, I could occasionally hear hallway noise or doors closing nearby.

The staff were fantastic and the restaurant La Fuga was exceptional. We ate there for supper and had the Lasagna Per Due (Lasagna for two) and it was phenomenal. The appetizers and the meal were so delicious that we didn't have any room for dessert. The staff at La Fuga were very well trained and their table maintenance was top notch. Having been a former waitress, this restaurant has spent time training all of the staff and it really shows. We ate outside right near the pool and it was very nice with a warm breeze. Great place to eat.

One suggestion for La Fuga -- while I understood "Lasagne Per Due", my 3 friends did not. A small suggestion is to add an English translation there in the menu. The rooms felt a bit dated.

The location of Kimpton was perfect close to the beach. The room was clean, spacious and the beds comfortable. The hotel offers breakfast a la carte which was very good. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Cost of valet parking is pretty expensive, but probably expected in a big city. The hotel offers extra services for which resort fee is charged, like two sunbeds on the beach. Since we were with three, offering three beds would have been nice. The parasol comes at an extra cost.

Location great....just a few minutes to the beach. We liked the coffee that was offered in the morning. The happy hour wine was also appreciated. The rooftop pool was spectacular.

The main entrance was often blocked with cars coming or going. This left NO room for guests to enter the lobby. Cars should be pulled up away from the entrance door. The pavers were full of oil.....needs to be cleaned. My reservation with Booking.com included the resort fee. When checking out, I was charged again. I had to sort this out at reception......only Taylor could help me. The other 2 women gave me wrong info.

Breakfast was excellent. Service great. Food very good. Hotel location is convenient and good location. Very clean and safe area. Very easy to navigate. The room was very clean and spacious and comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a very cute mid-century modern boutique hotel. Rooftop pool is fun. Beach chair access is super easy. Beach location is great. This hotel is a great option if you want a nice room, good service and a smaller, less chaotic hotel.

The bathroom lights are bright and they might consider dimmers.
