the property is beautiful, children's pool area is a bit of a walk from where the parents pool area is, so I could see some kids getting lost. only real negative was all the stairs. the resort is multi level and many different levels. so that was a bit of a bummer. stairs for everything. plus was starbucks on site. abc style store on site and wailea shops and dining within walking distance

to many stairs, sandy Beach about a quarter mile to the left or right of the resort. no direct beach access

The location and property simply amazing. Boardwalk and access to other hotels and shops! In the heart of Wailea! Stunning sunsets and beaches! The ocean front room views are also stunning. Food is exceptional as well. Staff at the breakfast kitchen place are also great especially Anthony and Paul! Service there is much better than at the rest of the hotel. Lady at the front desk called Judy was extremely nice to us- she’s really kind. Also Jhon at the adult pool bar was great!

The lack of cleanliness and poor hygiene. We had to switch rooms two times due to poor hygiene. Staff needs to check for all the corners during cleaning… Staff is also a hit or a miss in terms of service.

We were not happy when we arrived with our location of the room we had chosen to stay in a sea view which we did not have. The following day we were moved to a super upgraded ocean view room which is what we had thought we were getting to start with. It was dealt with quickly and professionally. The room had a beautiful view and very comfortable. Location is fantastic next to a lovely shopping area with great restaurants.

There is nothing not to like as long as you pay the extra for a sea view. The resort is lovely but very quiet in the evenings. If you want to go to bed at 9pm every night then it’s perfect. But if you want to have a drink anywhere everything shuts early in the resort and even in the bars and restaurants situated locally.

The staff was amazing! They were helpful, cheerful, courteous and always available to assist.

The layout of the resort is confusing - due to the mostly to the fact it’s built into hills. Level 1 is level 3 depending on the Hale you are in. They do have a gps map that shows you the route based on your location - but it wasn’t clear on when you were to use the stairs to get to the next location on the route. Also - elevators are not available to all floors of each Hale - so if stairs are difficult for you - this may not be the best resort.

Amazing hotel perfect for families with young kids. The resort has anything that any kid could ever dream of! Adventure pool with water slides for any age, arcade with free games, movie nights for kids, many traditional activities, sandy beach with included sun-beds, food trucks and a lot of space! Staff were very nice, efficient and welcoming and made us feel at home the entire time. I would 100% go back!

Room was not very sound proof.

Room: If you really wanted to be picky there was a few worn down things in the room, TV Counter was missing a small part of the side, which was visible, when entering. Balcony also has bare wood showing at then end under some glass that you also saw with a critical eye, but if that kind of thing bugs you, then you'd notice. The rest about the room was great. Had a new smart TV as well, that was great for a family movie night. Pool: The pools where nice and didn't seems chloride filled like a lot of other places, we've tried, which was really nice. There are an 18+ pool with great views and good service, but it could be a bit hard to get a spot there. The 2 pools that are open to everyone are nice, but definitely doesn't feel as luxurious. They are still really nice though. The place did however have a lot of "reserved" seatting, which had to be payed for. Specific seats, couches and the 21+ serenity pool all had to be reserved and payed for. Some reservations costing up to 800usd a day. If you really want some high end luxurious options and don't mind spending the money for it these seatting are great, but we didn't feel the need to use them and still enjoyed it a lot. View: Views were 10/10. Saw whales jumping in the ocean every single day.

A bit too many things were pay to use. A balance where a few more things are ready to use for everyone staying would have been a better fir in our opinion.

The rooms were nice, my family of 4 didn't feel squeezed. The pools were great, my teen boys especially enjoyed the adventure pool; those slides are fun! The grounds were very nice, overlooking the ocean. I liked the use of green space, as opposed to neighboring resorts that seem more densely packed. And despite being a guy that likes to research and book things myself, I found the concierge was very helpful.

They could use another family-friendly hot tub or two, the two near the infinity pool get a bit full. And the cost of the breakfast buffet is rather extravagant, but there are alternatives (on-site Starbucks, restaurants in The Shops next door, etc).

Property was beautiful. Plenty of pools and loungers. Our room was perfect. Beautiful view of the ocean which was what we asked for. Love the paved trail for walking along the beach.

As with all properties the added fees after you’ve arrived are ridiculous. Why not be up front with the price when making a reservation. Already expensive as it is.

I liked the pool, view, and activities nearby the hotel. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. I will definitely be coming back for another stay soon. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to plan for a vacation soon.

There was nothing I really didn't like about our stay. The only thing I didn't enjoy was having to leave and come back home! Keep up the good work guys and I really hope to see you all again soon.

Beautiful property in prime location on Maui. We were two minutes from the Shops at Wailea, nearly on the waterfront with easy access to beach. The serenity pool was awesome with incredible view of ocean. The staff at this resort were all amazing. Incredibly friendly, accommodating, and very professional. The Luau was absolutely amazing!! I’ve decided I will only stay at this resort when I travel to Maui.

Not the resort’s fault, but very expensive. A Mai Tai at this resort is double what it would cost at a local bar. Same with pretty much all good and drink ordered at this resort.
