Have stayed many times here and it never disappoints. The location is fantastic, walking distance to most attractions in Salem. Always clean, beds are comfortable, and I always enjoy a dip in the pool after a hot day of walking in the city. They have renovated most of the hotel to a very nautical theme. Staff is always polite and helpful. Another nice stay here.

My recollection is that more of these rooms used to have a fridge, but our Superior Queen room did not. I think during the renovation that perk was tiered to the more expensive rooms. I miss that. I also miss the beautful flower arrangement that used to adorn the lobby (real or not, it was so pretty!) and the smell of lillies as you walked in. But not reallly a negative, just being nostaligic. No real negatives here.

Really nice hotel in an ideal location for both the Wharf and the town centre. We had Junior suites which were extremely large, spacious and really nicely decorated. Plenty (free) parking too which was a bonus.

The aircon in the room was particularly noisy. It wasn't a major problem for my wife and I, but my daughter struggled to sleep with it on in her room. Also the bar closed a little early for my liking (10pm at the latest I think). Not a major problem though with Longboards pub a two minute walk away, but sometimes its nice just to have a quiet drink in your hotel.

The room was large ,clean, lovely. Shower was delightful,great water pressure. Shower products were very nice. Like that they are refillable. Environmentally conscious. Front desk staff warm welcoming and very helpful. Convenient to all of downtown Salem and waterfront activities. Able to rest

Could benefit from a fan in the bathroom. Guest room Door to hallway even when locked had open spots , where you could see through to the hallway. The Grounds of the hotel would be more attractive with , Trees or bushes. Maybe it was the construction nearby A path to pickering whatf with plantars and or flowers.

The location was perfect, in walking distance of everything. The staff were great and friendly. The rooms were beautiful, great color choices. The designs of the room were very nice, including all the decor.

The room did not have a mini fridge. Things were left behind from other guests (wine glasses and a hair straightner). Which didn't bother us because we didn't find those items until packing up when checking all the drawers. We found a used ear plug on the floor under a chair when we first arrived. But other than these minor things, everything was great!

The location as great! Hotel was recently remodeled. Free parking. Lobby was inviting and cold water available. Room was clean, well decorated and comfortable. Close to restaurants.

Staff were rude and not friendly. They told us the restaurant was open at 10:05pm for food or could order room service. That was not accurate. You can’t get food after 10, so make sure you plan ahead. No breakfast available, but even coffee in the lobby. Parking is free & available however can be difficult to get. In addition we were right by the elevator and it was very noisy. We could hear everything, so bring ear plugs!

Excellent location and very nice hotel which is on the water front. The hotel is used for weddings and other events so can get busy at weekends. Great bar with very friendly service and so lovely to have the fresh cookies every afternoon. Ample parking and good size, comfortable room.

The only issue we had was a very noisy air conditioning unit in our room which made it hard to sleep. I am not sure whether there was an issue with the central air or whether this is normal. We would still recommend the hotel.

Our original booking got messed up. So when we got there we had a smaller room than we had paid for. We informed the staff and showed them our reservation. They were amazing at honoring what we had paid for and actually upgraded our room to make this day better. The staff were exceptional. The cleaners did an amazing job. I have only good things to say about this hotel. The location is perfect to see attractions. It's in a good location to go get down to the water. It's probably more expensive than most hotels but if you have the money definitely worth the stay.

If I had one complaint It would probably be the breakfast. And my complaints in regard to that are minimal.

The queen room (with 2 queen beds) was comfortably furnished, and a good size for my partner, toddler and I. We were able to also easily fit a pack-and-play crib into the space that we had brought for our toddler. The staff were really friendly and made great recommendations for restaurants nearby (with careful considerations for toddler melt-downs). The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the waterfront. Our toddler loved the heated pool as it was early spring. Parking is included in the stay.

Housekeeping was attentive & very responsive!

Originally booked a double queen room & upon check-in, I was told that none were available. I was upgraded to a king junior suite with a sleeper sofa. My 60 yr old guest had to sleep on the couch, not the actual pullout, due to the fact that the sofa mattress was horrible. THIN,THIN mattress! When my guest went to lay on the mattress, all she felt were the coils. Horrible! Thankfully, the housekeeping manager, Erica came to see for herself the situation & agreed it would be comfortable at all. She was so professional! I have stayed here prior & have had a wonderful pleasant stay while visiting Salem.

The hotel was very well kept. It was neat and clean. The beds were extremely comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The staff was friendly and helpful and always looked busy. Every morning the front desk area was being mopped. Walking by an empty room I observed housekeeping staff wiping things down. We were also asked by housekeeping if we needed anything. All in all it was a wonderful experience. I do wish we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room, though.

Having a microwave and refrigerator. I was very surprised that the room did not contain those items. So, any food we had left over we had to dispose of which, of course, can be costly.
