We had a fantastic stay here. Large, comfortable, quiet rooms, the beds were cosy with proper blankets, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast is the best we've had at a budge motel (chocolate bread and warm eggs and potato on top of the usual fare!) We didn't have a problem with the location and felt safe and secure. The room had everything we could possibly need in it. Admittedly we're not looking for a pool and chandeliers in the lobby because... We're staying in a budget hotel!

Tiny things, the shower could have been hotter, the toilet paper a little thicker, but these were tiny things.

There was some amazing art work in the large entrance area - large sculptures made of nuts, bolts and metal pieces turned into horses, a cow, an owl table, alien and other large movie creatures. The location was convenient to I-40. I didn't explore the area. The room was nice and clean. The internet worked well enough to get work done. Once I was able to find the correct phone number for this place, they were willing to shift my stay to one night later. I appreciate that they were willing to work with me on this since I had booked the wrong date.

I can't think of anything I didn't like here.

The motel was a nostalgic relic of the Howard Johnson days with the blue and orange coloring. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful when we had a problem with our room key. Surprised by the amazing metal sculptures throughout the lobby - they were museum/gallery quality so not sure why they were in a motel.

The outside of the motel had crumbling sidewalks and Wyndham could spruce up the lobby area a bit.

The facilities is a very large facility. Lotta rooms looks like they had just completely remodeled this facility. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The inner lobby and breakfast area was very comfortable and enjoyable. Had a lot of very nice metal art. I really enjoyed very much.

The outside needs to have some cleaning done to it other than that I was extremely happy with the state very comfortable and will stay there again

The location is a bit more out town then other hotels but for a weeks stay it was much more affordable then other hotels. But if you like a nice quiet place, Johnson’s is the place. Would come here again. The breakfast wasn’t the biggest spread. But that’s okay. It’s at least something to have to snack on in the morning. In the lobby is some amazing art sculptures! Nice to look at! Thank you!

This is a very unique motel. The lobby has various recycled metal art sculptures, one of a kind, by Kalifano! This is a remodeled property that was once on the Historic Route 66. We love the rooms that open into the lobby (shown in the background of one of the pictures). This was a repeat visit for us, and we will stay here again if we are traveling that way again.

Not bad, but it is located on the far west end of town.

Super eclectic Gallup-esque property. My imagination was running wild with what the glory days might have looked like in this apparently built for conventions venue.

Its a lil funkier in terms of update attempts and/or oversights in room (garish/sloppy lighting and paint… thin walls etc)- but Im honestly not complaining. Felt safe, staff was friendly.

Chelsea was great ! We arrived past midnight, she came right put , super friendly and accommodating!! My daughter asked for a few extra shampoos and she supplied plenty for our stay. My girls also enjoyed breakfast, they ate to their heart’s content; we would stay again.

The staff was awesome, the room was clean and very comfortable … they served a hot breakfast which was very refreshing. I stayed out of necessity but I would stay there again.

There was very little walkable area to walk my service animal. The stickers were everywhere

The front girl was so nice. Greeted us very personable. The inside lobby was very nice Loved the metal sculptures throughout the property. The inside is beautiful, room was renovated. Felt safe. We will return on our way back from our vacation.
