We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was very comfortable and well-equipped, complete with a kettle, which was a nice touch for making tea or coffee. The location is also perfect – just a short walk to the Bologna metro station, making it easy to explore the city. A special mention goes to Aurelia at the reception, who was absolutely lovely. She took the time to explain the best tourist attractions in the city, offering great recommendations and advice. Her friendly and helpful attitude really enhanced our experience. Highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and excellent service!

We have been upgraded to a bigger room. Thanks lot Giuseppe for that. The room was larger than I have ever been in Rome. Interior je rtaher well maintained. The staff was super friendly. We love the location, we could easily enjoy the streets of Rome from Colosseo to the hotel on foot. Very close to bus stop and metro station in Piazza Bologna. I particularly enjoy the local vibes of the neighborhood, experiencing restaurants with locals only, far from the hectic atmosphere of the tourstic sides of the City.

Great hotel, with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly and gave us advice on navigating Rome during the Pope's funeral. Our room wasn't large but it was comfy, clean, nice toiletries, a window that opened. The location was GREAT - we wanted to be in a real Roman neighbourhood, away from any tourist sites, and this hotel delivered! Lovely cafes and bars nearby, a great food market, beautiful apartment buildings.

A small annoyance-- only paper cups provided in the room! No proper cups for making tea from the room's kettle or glasses to drink the bottle water provided for free.

The location is excellent, close to all the attractions (a few minutes away by metro), but away from all the crazyness of downtown. The hotel itself is cozy. We enjoyed a quiet room which, although not big, was spacious enough. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The mattress is on the firm side (and very comfortable), just as per my personal preference. The staff do a great job, our thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.

Hello, it was a happy and enjoyable stay at the Mercure Roma Piazza Bologna Hotel. The service of the hotel staff was excellent from everyone without exception. I would like to thank Serena and Joseph in particular, as they helped us with every inquiry, whether about the areas surrounding the hotel, the important landmarks of the city, how to get there, and other information.

The hotel is very modern and clean, and in a quiet residential area. It’s well supported by metro and bus routes, and has lots of great places nearby for dinner and drinks.

It took the air conditioning a while to really work, and even then in the very hot weather, it wasn’t very strong.

Mercure standards, so all clean and great service. The hotel is situated in a residential area, with great local restaurants and cute places serving gelatto. I’ve been to Rome before and stayed in the city centre, but this hotel is situated in a much nicer area of Rome, away from all the tourists while being well connected by the metro, so a win-win. We felt much safer at night than in the centre and the local atmosphere was lovely. We will be staying here again when we come visit again.

Everything was amazing. The location is excellent, close to the metro station, making it easy to reach anywhere. The receptionists and restaurant staff were super attentive and helpful, especially a gentleman at the reception who arranged transportation cars, provided restaurant recommendations, and patiently answered all the questions we had during our stay.
