Our stay was wonderful, the staff at the reception and the restaurant were exceptional, especially Alexandra. From the first day we arrived and every time we saw her, she welcomed us with such warmth and friendly face - just brilliant, thank you Alexandra! The room was quite big, very clean, the bed very comfortable, lovely views and with breakfast that had plenty of choice, at least enough for us. The bathrooms were very spacious, very clean and we could see that they wanted to keep the originality of the hotel that was once a care home. The hotel is quite big and located in a very nice, peaceful area of Rome with brilliant connections to centre: one bus stop is a minute walk which has a bus going through centre and all the way to Vatican City. Another bus stop is a five minutes walk, to the main road, which has plenty of buses that take you to Rome Termini and other locations. With a travelcard that we bought at Roma Termini we travelled by bus everywhere during our stay, even to and from the Airport, highly recommend taking the bus, very cheap, 8 euros each way per person. Up the road on the Via Nomentana, a few minutes walk, are bakeries, nice restaurants; pizza, very nice Chinese (recommend), shops and supermarkets.

There is nothing that we didn't like, we really liked everything and have already recommended this hotel to our friends.

I had an amazing experience at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable — everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is perfect, close to key attractions but still peaceful and quiet at night. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety, and the restaurant/bar had a great atmosphere. I also loved the little touches — from the cozy lobby to the attention to detail in the service. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for comfort, style, and great service. I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel for seven nights with my spouse. The location was great, close to the bus station (3 minutes) and the metro station (7 minutes). The neighborhood was clean, peaceful, and safe. The staff were extraordinarily kind, always friendly, and ready to help with big smiles. The hotel was very clean and equipped with new facilities. The breakfast was delicious and varied, served by exceptionally kind staff. The view from our room was perfect, as was the view from the fourth floor, where we could sit and enjoy our breakfast. A special thank you to Paulo, Augustus, and the other lovely staff of the hotel!

There was nothing I think could have been better.

It was actually a transit for a (full) day in Rome. Instead of booking a hotel near FCO which was more expensive than this room rate, and not forget about the expensive fare for airport pick up+ drop off. I was extremely happy and satisfied with my last night staying in Rome. Such a beautiful fine hotel, the room is super clean, there is a garden in the property where I could do my exercise in the morning then head to hotel breakfast, warm and helpful hotel staff. The location looks far from FCO but it is actually very convenient to get there. If you travel light, just take the Leonardo Express direct train from FCO (€15) to Roma termini, hop on Bus 82 right in front of the termini, and a short walking distance you will reach the hotel. If you travel with big luggage bags, I chose to ride the taxi/uber from the hotel to Roma termini to the airport the next day. The taxi ride cost me €15.50. As for last night in Rome, I was happy l could enjoy a nice Cacciò e Peppe and delicious pizza at Mamma Pizza by just walking distance before leaving Italia.

It was an absolute dream, as charming and full of character as the streets of Rome and its warm, welcoming locals. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the hotel’s cozy elegance and the kind hospitality of its staff. The buffet breakfast each morning was a delightful part of my stay. The location is ideal, just a short 15-20 minute metro or bus ride to all the major tourist attractions.

Gazing out of my window or sipping Italian wine on the rooftop while watching the sun set over Rome, every moment felt like a dream.

We enjoyed our stay in this excellent hotel which was in a lovely location overlooking a garden and very near to a beautiful park. The hotel was in a nice area which was quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The metro was a 10 minute walk away. The hotel smelt lovely as there was Honeysuckle growing outside and the smell filled the corridors. The corridors and rooms were very light and spacious and clean. The continental breakfast was enjoyable and you could eat outside on the balcony or in the bright dining room.The beds were comfy and the rooms were cleaned daily.

All of the toilets were for disabled people, so they were very high. I did not think all of the bathrooms needed disabled toilets. We travelled as a family and paid for 4 rooms and they had disabled toilets in. Maybe a small percentage could be kept to accomodate disabled people. Also, the sign outside said - For senior living - this needs to be changed as this is now a hotel and not a retirement home. Also a full length mirror would have been helpful as we only had short mirror located in the bathroom.

- Calm location near a subway station and park - Very good air conditioning during the heat wave - Kind and efficient lady from Dominican Republic with whom I have chatted and thanks to whom my dust allergies did not trigger

- You have to give the room key back every time you go out, and ring the bell and talk every time you come back. - Every single one of the 6 mornings I went out I was asked if I was checking out... - I was right next door to the breakfast room where there is a piano and multiple times a day someone plays the piano loudly. It was not too bad but after some time you just want peace and quiet.

The staff at Hotel Delle Civette were very attentive and helpful. The room was more than adequately sized and very comfortable. The Hotel itself was secure and in a decent location being about five minutes away from the Bologna stop along the metro.

I generally was very pleased with the property itself. The only ‘critique’ would be the need to leave your room key with the concierge before exiting the hotel. This was often-times simple though and the staff were always very friendly.

I loved my stay at Hotel Delle Civette! A pleasant place with a wonderful atmosphere in a quiet area a bit outside of the centre of Rome. The distance was no problem because of transport options with bus and metro close by. The room was simple but very clean and had everything I needed including aircon. It has a rooftop balcony where you can have a drink or a cup of coffee with the most beautiful view. I slept so good and felt safe and taken care of in this lovely place. The absolute best thing with this hotel was definitely the friendly and helpful staff! I want to thank you all so much for helping me and for making my first trip to Rome perfect. Absolutely lovely location in a quiet part of Rome, opposite a park. Very comfortable bed and lovely quiet room with a beautiful outdoor terrace too.

I have to say it was absolutely hilarious to realize that it was a "Senior Living" accommodation. I had just turned 40 and my friends and I were crying with laughter about it, because when I arrived in the bathroom it was fully decked out for someone with limited capabilities and for support in case of an accident. Hilarious!! That being said, it was a wonderful place to stay, no complaints.
