I loved the place, location is imo perfect if you are travelling as a family. I was staying with my parents in two rooms on different floors and we also had a small dog. There is a large green park 3 minutes from the hotel, metro station is about 6 minutes away and you can get to the colloseum without any changes in about 15-20. There is also a bus stop right out the hotel door which you can take to Vatican and be there in about 30 minutes. There are many nice restaurants around the neighbourhood as well for your suppers, we enjoyed Gran Sasso family restaurant. I liked being a bit away from the city center as it is very busy at most times, in this hotel we had immediate access to all of the sites via transport but had the quiet nights and a nice park to walk our family pet. Apart from the location the staff were stellar with their everyday help and rooms were always clean (no bed bugs to worry about). It got a bit chilly on one of the days and the staff provided us with spare heaters and a warm blanket.

You can see from the view outside that the windows are overlooking an intersection, I do have to mention that in the busiest hours in the morning and at night it did get a bit loud, which can be an issue for some. It did not really matter to me so much but for any light sleepers you can ask for a room with windows into the courtyard

This is a small three-star hotel, with an attractive facade and layout, located in a beautiful and quiet square (Piazza Salerno), just outside the bustling and noisy centre. The property is well-situated, being just 20 metres from a bus stop and a 3-4 minute walk from a metro station. It is in close proximity to the picturesque green space and museums of Villa Torlonia. The staff is very friendly and ready to provide clear instructions and useful advice to ensure a positive experience when travelling to and from the centre, to museums and attractions, to churches with important works of art, and to good restaurants and cafes both near the hotel and in the centre of Rome.

One or two towel hooks/hangers would be a suitable addition to complement the towel rail bathroom radiator.

Their hospitality, service, and the location is definitely for people who wants access to the centre of Rome, but also a quiet, laid-back, authentic Roman experience. Location is very near the metro, and several bus stops located near the hotel. If you want to experience authentic local cuisine, there are tons of restaurants around the area. All the restos I’ve been around the hotel are definitely authentic and exceptional! (The staff are also happy to recommend authentic restos and cafe nearby) Receptionists are very friendly and hospitable, and wants you to feel at home, cleaners replace towels daily, and makes sure everything is pristine. Highly recommended!

Staff was great and the shower was hot with good water pressure. There is a public water fountain across the street to fill up your water bottles. This was very convenient. It’s two blocks from the subway and tram. There are buses that can pick you up a lot closer. Staff loves their city and was helpful with recommendations.

It’s outside of the center so you need to take public transport to the Colloseum (17 minutes) and it’s 40 minutes to the Travesere neighborhood. I would have loved to stay a little closer to all the action. I was cold at night and there was a blanket in the closet, but it wasn’t warm enough and the heat didn’t work.

I had a great experience at Hotel Regina Margherita in Rome. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-located in a safe area with easy access to public transportation – ideal for exploring the city. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax after a day out. A special mention goes to Davide at reception, who was incredibly helpful and kind throughout my stay. He was always available to chat, share stories and tips, and truly made guests feel at home. Davide gave excellent local recommendations, including great restaurants to visit and places to go. He even helped me plan a surprise for my brother, who was also staying at the hotel – everything went perfectly thanks to him. Overall, a well-run hotel with great service. I’d definitely stay again.

If you want a quiet neighbourhood close to metro, this is it. Plenty of embassies nearby. A few restaurants. A few bars but not much action. Staff was very friendly. I interacted mainly with Davide, and I challenged him with many questions as it was my first time in Rome. Davide was very helpful and always with a smile. And my room had a small balcony which was a nice touch.

The doors to the rooms seemed to be paper thin, so anything going on in the corridor you'd hear like in your room. The place could maybe use a small refresh, but everything was clean, and that's key to me. Just be aware, in my room the shower was very narrow so a bigger person will struggle to fit. I'm not wide by any means and I was doing the Tetris in there trying to open and close the door.

The room was above my expectations and I really appreciated the daily cleaning. Staff were also really friendly. Great access to the city centre with the bus right in front of the hotel and nearby there were some restaurants and supermarkets.

The only thing is that you can hear the road and it is still a bit busy at night. If you’re a light sleeper I would suggest earplugs!

I really like the location of the hotel. It is near the Policlinico station which is 2 stops away from Roma Termini. You can even walk from Termini to the hotel and it will take you around 10 mins covering 1.2km. It is my second time in the hotel and I want to give a shoutout to Davide, the hotel staff who took care of my needs during my stay. He even remembered me the first time I stayed in the hotel. I am very well travelled and he is one of the best hotel staffs I've encountered so far. He goes the extra mile, providing recommendations of food and restaurants and very accomodating!

Loved the location, convenient to the metro and there's a bus stop right outside the hotel. Yes, it's at a busy junction but we did not get any traffic noise in the hotel room. The bed is comfortable but if we had to pick one thing we liked the most, it is the shower. The coffee machine coffee is excellent. Also appreciated a bonus that we had a room with a balcony, sharing a view from our room
