The location was excellent with Bologna metro station within two minute walk and metro B to Termini central station took under 10 minutes and change to metro A would take us to Spanish steps at Spagna station with all the most famous attractions within a walking distance (Pantheon, Fountain de Trevi, all the museoums etc.) Best in the location was that there were some really good restaurants near by and the prices were under half compared to city center. I would recommend Enrico and Puerto Fino with a really tasty food and wonderful service

Breakfast was a croissant and a coffee in cafeteria one block away not the continental breakfast mentioned in the webpage we were assuming and would have needed. We ended up eating bigger breakfast in other restaurants.

Walkable distance to the subway station. There was quite a good number of restaurants in the area and the bar where the breakfast was served had very tasty pastries. The size of the room was good and since we were there on New Year's Day they provided some nice options for breakfast in the room, as the bar was closed.

there was an unpleasant odor coming from the shower drain and you can hear people talking/walking in their rooms. also no cleaning during our stay, but we didn't mind it.

Location: property was located in a residential area with five minutes access to the metro lines, and very walkable 10 minutes to Tiburtina. great local eateries in the neighborhood; away from tourists. the staff was very friendly and responsive. had to use a language translation app to communicate since they don’t speak English

our room is extremely small given our two pieces of luggage. we were constantly bumping into each other. This is not a room for people who want to hang out in the rooms, it is so small that it is essentially just for showering and sleeping for two ppl but would have been fine for one. And only on one of the three mornings did we actually get breakfast with fresh cakes and coffee in their kitchen. The other two mornings breakfast was in our room with a Kit of packaged food and drinks and a water kettle. This was a very different type of Italian breakfast than the other places we stayed in in Italy

The room at the Bonsai B&B was very comfortable and beautifully styled. (I really have to mention here the excellent quality mattresses that were greatly appreciated after a day of walking and sightseeing!!) It was very clean and all covid measurements were carefully kept. The owners are very friendly, acomodating and easy to talk to. The area is a great choice for staying during vacations, as it is not inside the noisy center but only a few minutes away if you use the metro (Bologna metro station is 4 minutes by foot from the B&B). Also the Termini and Tiburtina stations are near. The Piazza Bologna neighborhood is safe to walk even at night and filled with good quality italian restaurants (real italian, not the touristic kind) and every type of shops. I would definitely choose the same B&B for future travel.

It’s a small B&B near Roma Tiburtina station. But a great option if you don’t want to spend a lot and the management very helpful.

The room was a little bit small, the breakfast a little bit poor (only coffee with some sweet bread).

Very comfortable room and friendly staff. The breakfast is simple and tasty at the cafe nearby, a cappuccino and croissant.

The bed was large and confortable. The Bnb is located in a nice district with shops, the house is far from the road thus the room was quiet.

The kitchen was closwd due to renovation works but we had not been informed. The host has placed some breakfast items in the rooms, but this is not what we expexted. On the positive side, there is a fridge in the corridor for guests, this was useful.

owner was really helpful and provided loads of tips on where to eat and even how to post a package overseas, clean property, comfy bed, good access to public transport, restaurants at walking distance and Tiburtino station just 10 minutes away on foot
