Spacious room with two queen beds. Quite clean. Newspaper in English every morning at your door. Nice tv with many channels. It is just 10 minutes walking distance from the international convention center. Very convenient if you will attend one.

Everything was fine. If you are going to stay in Kyoto to visit and not for conferences, take into account that this hotel is in the outskirts of the city. Last train stop.

I had a great stay of 7 nights in this hotel which is remote from the hustle of the city itself. It is perfectly located for visits to temples or shrines north of Kyoto. Also, the park and lake are worth a visit and were breathtaking in the autumn leaves colours. My room was very spacious with a great view, it was quiet and I enjoyed coming back home to the place after my day activities. Kokusai Taikan Subway station is less than 5 mins away and takes only about 20 mins to Kyoto main station. I loved the Japanese bento style breakfast. Staff were friendly, especially in the restaurants. I will definitely go back to this hotel when visiting Kyoto again in the future.

I did not like the atmosphere in the buffet style breakfast banquet hall on the lower floor. The hall is enormous, tables are too big, there is no natural light and I had more of a feeling of being in a community hall than in a luxury hotel. Having said that, two of the ground floor restaurants serve set breakfasts "with a view" and you have the choice, so it was ok in the end.

This hotel is a gem with its beautiful, unique design and prime location. Just 25 minutes to Kyoto Station via an easily accessible subway, it’s also right next to a large convention hall where popular events are often held. The hotel offers three dining options, with everything well-organized to meet your needs. However, if you're looking for a traditional Japanese onsen experience, this might not be the place, as it doesn’t have one. Great for a comfortable, stylish stay with modern amenities!

The hotel is built on a large property, so it was disappointing to have to pay extra for parking. It would have been a nice touch if parking was complimentary for guests.

The breakfast service and the Club facilities were just excellent and highly recommended. The hotel location is surreal and very ideal if you want to stay away from the hustle and bustle. One important note was the hotel reception staff was extremely polite and accomodating and greatly helped us make this a confortable stay. I'd choose to stay at this hotel if I ever visit Kyoto again.

The interesting building designed by Togo Murano surrounded by woods, located in a quiet area. It was easy to go anywhere by metro & bus. The luggage pick-up service at Kyoto Station was also great. The room was nice, spacious and had a separate and functional washbasin.

Throwing out trashes and changing cups/glasses (without special request) would be desirable for those guests staying more than one night.

Absolutely beautiful. A stunning ring-style hotel steps away from the conference centre and Higashiyama Park. Easy for transit, offered delicious room service, bike rental and everyone was super friendly. Huge rooms and great amenities.

There is a beautiful patio in the middle of the ring, but I’m not sure how it’s used! Also the wifi wasn’t… great.

The rooms are spacious, the room design, and the view were all great. Great breakfast selections, my booking did not include a breakfast, but there were 3 restaurants at the hotel which offered that, one of which was a buffet. I got a recommendation by booking.com to have a shower box, it was not clear if the bathtub had a shower (both did) when switched my booking i found that my room as both a bathtub and a shower box, which was convenient Staff are super friendly The building is a ring shape, where I believe all rooms have a an amazing view of Takaragaike area. The center is a garden. My room view was of trees.

This unique, modern hotel is located slightly north of central Kyoto. The rooms are very spacious and beautifully designed with a wooden furniture. The hotel is conveniently situated near the Kyoto Conference Center and is surrounded by a large, beautiful park. The staff was very polite and attentive, always ready to answer any questions. Overall, I really enjoyed this hotel.

When we checked out, we found that we have been charged for an additional 11000 for buffet breakfast. But we didn’t have that meal. The staff checked this for a long time, like 30 minutes, and later told us it might be a mistake from their restaurant staff. During the period, no one make an apology to us and we just waited and waited for their very slow response. It’s an unpleasant experience.
