The quality of the room really impressed me. It was clean, quiet, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay (kettle, fridge, bath, hair dryer etc), plus a shared kitchen on the main floor where you could prepare simple meals. I've seen other reviews complaining about the size of the rooms and bedding; I feel like these come from people who haven't done enough research. These are traditional-style tatami rooms with futons, and knowing what that entails, the room met and even exceeded my expectations for cleanliness and comfort. They're likely ideal for a couple or solo traveler and I was extremely pleased with my stay. I also would tell people not to think of this as a typical 'hotel'; it's largely self-service, but if you need anything (clean sheets, extra bedding etc) the staff are very responsive and when I did encounter them, they were very kind and pleasant. Be aware that there is no elevator, which I can see being inconvenient if you have large luggage. The location was fantastic, close to the delta and away from the tourist trappings of the city center, while still being acessible with the exceptionally close demachi yanagi train station. I would definitely stay here again!

Nothing, it was perfect

The room is very beautiful. It was clean, quiet. The location is great.

Two minor details but the kitchen wasn't very well equipped and I wasn't aware i had to pay an extra "municipal tax" for my stay since in booking it says all taxes included right next to the price.

The reception was lovely, the room was clean and good. The hotel is close to Imperial Palace. The cons were there was no elevator for luggages, and the room wasn't super spacious for three people. Would be nice to get our towels changed daily as well.
