From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the hotel staff. A special mention to Tiago, who stood out for his warmth and attentiveness — we felt an immediate connection, which set the tone for the rest of our stay. When we entered our room, we were blown away by the view. Framed perfectly by the window, we could see the sea stretching out in front of us, with surfers gliding across the waves — a serene and energizing sight to wake up to. The swimming pool was another highlight: absolutely stunning and with the perfect water temperature. We easily could have spent the entire day there, just relaxing and soaking it all in. Breakfast in the morning was a delight, with a variety of fresh and tasty options that left us feeling well taken care of. Overall, our experience was fantastic — peaceful and beautiful. We’re already looking forward to returning.

The hotel appears to have been recently updated, new paint, carpet, wall coverings. We had a very nice view on floor 1, the lowest floor, containing 'standard' rooms. The pool is on this level, but the sea can be seen just past the pool walls. If you want a more unobstructed view, choose a room other than the least expensive. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. We were welcomed with an Easter treat delivered to our rooms. Large KING beds. Rain shower head. Secured parking. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything was fine!

The window view is trully astonishing! It's worth it! You get asleep to the sounds of the ocean and you wake up to the light noises of ocean waves. Rooms are soundproof. You can never hear any other sounds expect for those of the nature outside. So the sleep was trully peaceful.

- The cleaning stuff was really too persistent entering the room in the morning without our concent. - The bathroom was very tiny: as you open the door, it blocks access to the toilet and towels. - Hot breakfast was a typical one: eggs, bacon, beans and tomatoes. But it was warm (almost cold) in fact, overcooked (both eggs and bacon) there were no additional vegetables except for tomatoes, choice of fresh fruits was very poor as well, however the choice of bread and pastry was astonishing. So in fact it was difficult to have a nutritious and healthy breakfast.

Upon arrival the women at the desk upgraded us for no reason and offered to make us wine tasting reservations. She was extremely friendly and so very helpful. the room was amazing. Listening to the waves at night gave me the best night sleep. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was 10 plus as well as our server!

The swimming pool was wonderful and the diving boards make it extra fun. It’s perfectly placed on the seafront, and not too far from Sintra where you can spend a day or two. The waves here are just right for surfing and there were many surfing classes taking place for different ages. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The menu was the same every night so it became a bit boring after a while. I was told the pool only opened at 10am but every morning I saw swimmers in there from 8:30am. I booked this hotel because of the 100m swimming pool but it was often filled with young families having fun during the scheduled opening hours. Eventually I was told that I could access the swimming pool from 8:30 but only for swims, and no play/sunbathing. Totally fair, I just wish that had been communicated earlier as I missed a few opportunities to swim without worrying about leisure pool users throwing balls around 🤣

Incredible location with amazing views and huge pool literally on the beach. And with parking! Good breakfast buffet too. The location is really incredible. Definitely worth a visit. Really relaxing with the sound of waves.

Points of improvements : 1. one of Our room smelled . 2. No iron was available in the hotel. 3. Only 1 lift in the hotel. 4. Just one snack/ bar by the pool but not a real F&B offering. No possibility to order lunch or cocktails for example. 5. There does not seem to be a lifeguard service by the pool. Some people wear staff shirts, but have many more duties.

Recently updated rooms, seems like they take care of the property. We loved the service and food in the cafe. It was great to have a restaurant as well as a more informal cafe option on site. Great views. Great parking. Nice breakfast. Bus stop (although bus somewhat infrequent and sometimes departed a few mins early) just across road - warning: cash only and they may not have change!!!!

Pool was great. Closed quite early though… when opened in the cooler start of season would be great to heat up to an extra degree Celsius (or two!). Air conditioning in our room was only just coping during our visit in early May - not even peak summer yet! Agree with other reviewers regarding “smell” in hotel lower floor. Not unbearable but certainly noticeable.

The location is fantastic – right on the Atlantic coast, just steps away from Praia Grande. The 100-meter-long pool is a true highlight – ideal for swimming and relaxing. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which was a lovely surprise and made our stay even more comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful – we felt very well taken care of.

Whilst most parts of the room appeared to have been recently renovated, which added to the comfort, some furniture, especially the built-in wardrobe, seemed a bit dated and could use an update. But that‘s just minir.

Fabolous view from room, dining areas, and public areas in hotel, access to beach, and nice walk along coast to Praia de Maca from the hotel - beautiful views of coastline. Hotel decor and rooms very nice, staff so so so helpful, and very accommodating to needs, Enjoyed the lovely selection available for breakfast each morning, limited options on evening menu for the "fussy" eater, but other options available in the area., Nice coffee shop also on site. An ideal base for trips to Cascais, Mafra and Ericeira, the bus stop beside the hotel, is perfect, we chose to use public transport for a trip to Lisbon, getting bus to Sintra, and train from there to LIsbon,

Only fault we could identify was that the room a little cool at night, and needed an extra duvet, which rectified the issue.
