Chalet O Amorzinho was hands down the most beautiful accommodation we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, I felt completely at peace. The design of the place is stunning — calm, thoughtful, and full of character — but what truly moved me was the ocean view. It was my first time ever seeing the ocean, and I honestly cried when I stepped onto the terrace and looked out. The setting is magical, surrounded by nature and silence, yet full of life. There’s also a lovely pool with pleasantly warm water — actually warmer than the ocean — which made it the perfect place to unwind. The breakfast was very good, you can choose from several options. On top of that, there are some great restaurants within walking distance, so finding a delicious meal nearby was never a problem. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming, and every detail of the stay felt special. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with yourself and nature, this is it. We would definitely love to come back — this place left a piece of itself in our hearts.

Lovely location on the top of a seaside cliff with stunning cliff walks in both directions. The owner is very sweet as are her staff. Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 10:00, but one morning we left early for a tour and they accommodated us. There is a small pool on the property overlooking the sea and we enjoyed a couple of afternoons relaxing there. This is a low key place for relaxation and hikes. Also a short distance to Sintra so a perfect place to stay if you prefer to be near the coastline.

This has nothing to do with the property at all so keep that in mind. We LOVED this little inn, the owner & staff. This section of coast in Portugal is not really the best for ocean swimming. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous, but the sea is pretty rough and chilly. We liked this place because after we hiked to the beaches and relaxed in the sand, we went back to the hotel and got into the pool. The mornings are a little misty (even in August). It gets warm between noon and 5:00.

My suite had an ocean view that was spectacular. There was a beautiful window that had Portuguese tiles incorporated into it. Great for photos. It was very clean, the heat and air conditioning worked well, and the breakfast was quickly made for me when I went into the dining room, so it was nice and warm. If you like pumpkin, you have to try the homemade pumpkin jam. The owner and staff were all amazing. When I had problems with my phone and credit cards they were very helpful. The staff and cooks could not have been better. This was the most beautiful and relaxing place I stayed on my trip. If I come back to Portugal I will definitely stay here again!

Great breakfast, location is far from all the busy city center, perfect view we had a great night falling asleep with the sound of the waves crashing on the rocks.

Our door had issues with the key, we had very hard time opening it, the staff as well had issues unlocking the door. Some of the lights didn't work in the room (but didn't bother too much). There's a wodeen window to close the window as a curtain, it didn't close well and opened during the night.

It was simply perfect! The welcoming, the room, the location ... everything was just wonderful. Especially Anna and Maria made us feel to be part of their families. It's small details that make a difference. For example, we have been invited for a welcome drink that was placed in our room, you could get coffee and tea all day long, we had a fridge in our room, cake was freshly made every day... The spot is unique. Our room had a small terrace where we could enjoy the sunsets. The property is super well maintained and clean. One afternoon we met the owner when returning from visiting Sintra. She is as well super friendly. There was simply not enough time to say how happy we were having found this wonderful spot.

This property is absolutely incredible. The location, the attention to detail and customer service is unmatched. Even though this is a small boutique hotel, the amenities are luxurious. The room was large and had a beautiful view of the ocean. The grounds were gorgeous. You can walk right out to the cliffs and the Azehenas do Mar restaurant is a short walk away. The breakfast was absolutely incredible. We even swam in the pool after dinner under the stars while drinking our complimentary bottle of wine. Highly recommend staying here for more than 1 night.

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect.

The staff were absolutely lovely, from Sophia welcoming us, to the owner giving us recommendations and the women making breakfast. All were so sweet and kind, always checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. The view was amazing. We loved our time here. The breakfast is made to order and was fresh and delicious and there is a great restaurant you can walk to along the ocean.

There’s little to add here but the lighting in the bathroom was dark and the showers didn’t drain very well. Other than that we loved it and would come again.

The check-in was a little stressful as there was nobody around to give us the code through the gate, but everything else after was perfect! The location was beautiful, and the staff tried very hard to ensure we were settled. Alicia helped us book a table for dinner when most restaurants were closed because of a holiday, and Maria, the most cheerful and professional morning staff, was always greeting us with a smile when we went for breakfast. We never learned the name of the cook, but she was lovely too, making sure we had freshly baked cake!

All about the location - what a view and great options to walk to Azenhas do Bar or other beaches north. Definitely do not miss Azenhas do Mar bar and restaurant on just 10min walk from Chalet. Wonderful owner who created a lovely place uniquely on the Atlantic Ocean. Great breakfast service. We had room Azenhas do Mar right on the ocean with a small terrace featuring 4 chairs for relaxing, sun bathing.

Room was a little cramped with the added small table and chairs in the room, and an unnecessary large lounge chair.

Staff was very accommodating and very pleasant. We were going to miss breakfast, so the host prepared something for us in advance of our early departure. The location is stunning. The view was awesome and the walk along the trail into town with the terrific view of the village on the cliff was amazing.

The area right around the chalet was not as nice as the chalet, cars were parked along the top of the bank with the ocean views, walk into town required crossing a road and didn't have sidewalks
