Patrick was very friendly and accommodating. The towels are clean though they're pretty old.

The lift scares us most of the time because of its loud and sudden sound it makes when closing. The room isn't properly cleaned, there are hair strands left on the floor. I think it's a must to add a microwave and a small fridge in the room.

It is a good place to stay if you are looking for a more budget-friendly place to stay in Singapore. The room was simple but clean, everything was working in order. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is a little far from the metro station, but it has a bus stop right on the corner, so no problem in getting where you need to go. The neighborhood has several shops and restaurants that are open until later in the night, so it is safe to walk around and there in case you need to bite to eat. If you are worried about it being at the red-light district, don't be. First, soliciting is illegal so none of the girls or the guys in front of the motels will approach you. Second, the hotel is right at the start of the neighborhood, and most of the "action" happens deeper inside. So, as long as you don't go looking for it you won't even notice.

No mini fridge in the room. I paid more for the room with a window since I like to let fresh air in, but it doesn't open.

Nice clean room. Not many amenities but everything you need for a trip. Booking the hotel I thought it would be nice to be close to an MRT station but we end up using the busses much more. The hotel is very close to a bus station leading downtown and the bus station on the way back is only a 6-min walk. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You can ask for free slippers for the room which is nice, but you get what you pay for (very thin).

The neighbourhood is not very clean, and there are a lot of people just hanging around 24/7. I never felt unsafe but a solo traveling person might. The room is quite small but big enough to leave a (couple of) suitcase(s) open/on the ground. I'm not sure how many other guests were on our floor but sometimes we heard people walk the hallways. Not a problem for us this time but I can imagine you'll hear noisy neighbours.

This is my second time booking here and the place did not disappoint. The location is near a lot of good restaurants. It is also near Singapore National Stadium which is the main reason of our trip. Like before, towels were replaced with new ones everyday. Toiletries such as toothbrush, toothpaste, tissues, shower gel and shampoo were available except for the hand soap near the bathroom sink. Bidet is also available! Coffee, sugar and creamer were also provided, including cups and electric kettle. During our first day, my friend was supposed to drink her daily dose of coffee but the socket overheat when she plugged the kettle and we were no longer able to use the socket. Upon reporting it to the front desk, they fixed it immediately and was able to use it again when we returned. We also have our room cleaned everyday with no additional fee.

The number of sockets are very limited. Three people were occupying the room and the sockets were also three. We also needed to look for the other one which was inside the closet on the lowest partition 😅

The place is near a lot of food places and we love the different varieties of food available around the area. The room is spacious enough just for sleeping and towels were changed frequently. Bed and toilet is clean enough. Although there are some hair on the sink and bed when we first checked in. You can definitely leave your bags at the reception if you arrive earlier. There is a front desk person 24/7. Staff is friendly. You have to request for an iron from the front desk and give back if you want to use. Laundry is not available but they recommended one nearby, at the back street. $4 for wash and $1 for 6min for dryer. If you want to ride the bus going to the MRT, ride either Bus 21 or 26 going to Kallang MRT. If coming from the city to hotel, go down at Aljunied MRT and ride bus 80 or 100. This was suggested by the front desk as well. They are helpful with directions.

I was expecting a table in front of the TV. But it only had a dresser table and we found that it’s not enough for our things. Some of our stuff were laid down on the floor because of not having enough table space. The hangers in the wardrobe were fixed (can’t get them put). Love that there was a bidet in the toilet, however no trash can in the toilet. We had to keep moving the trash can from the bedroom to toilet every time they clean our room because they kept putting it back to the bedroom.

This is my 2nd stay with Ibis budget . Last time I stayed in the same location with Ibis budget Ametrine which is just opposite this Property , This time I chose this. Nothing much of a difference as that's the best part of Ibis that the predictability in terms of the rooms & standards are the same as you get every time & in every Property . Train station is a 10 mins walk from this place , eateries , shopping is nearby . Good to stay when you are solo or with a partner. Rooms are smaller & that's the sad part that Singapore is so expensive that you will have to think before you book any hotel & Ibis budget will turnout to be the cheapest when we start making the comparison . Just stayed a night and would stay here again. There's so many similarly-priced places in the Geylang area (and so many Hotel 81s!) and this Ibis is probably among the best. Really friendly check-in staff. The room and property were very clean and quiet, that's most important and in that regard all was fine. Location is as good as any Geylang place, about 15 minute walk to the airport Metro and a couple of really good Indian places at the end of the block. Next time I swing through Singapore I'll book here again.

👍 Great price, staff were excellent and knowledgeable. Our room was cleaned each day with new linen and towels provided. The hotel was surprisingly quiet despite being in a busy area. A/C fully operational as well. Two rail stations on the EW route within a short walk or buses available virtually at the doorstep 👎Bathrooms need updating/thoroughly cleaning, lots of stagnant water from shower/wet room. I think a closeted shower would work better.

Great hotel for a budget stay in Singapore. Room was mostly clean (except under the beds quite dirty), compact but functional with good AC, hot shower and a TV. For the price in Singapore you can’t complain. Friendly staff and was able to leave our luggage on checkout for the day.

Check in process was a bit long, being asked to download the app etc after a long travel day isn’t ideal. Not the nicest area around the hotel but near the bus stop to get into central Singapore.

The hotel provides enough facilities especially for the tourists like us. Rooms are comfortable. Many food stores around with many varieties. A 7 Eleven store is few meters away which is opened for 24 hours. More importantly the wash rooms provide bidet showers. Enough space to keep the luggage. Rooms are calm, quiet and clean. Bus stop is so close when you leave from the hotel.

Rooms are small in size and its not comfortable if you plan to stay long hours inside the room. You can keep the luggage in hotel lobby after checking out (If you have to wait for your flights). Hotel provides the washroom facility in the lobby but no way to get a wash if there is a need. You have to walk about 400+ meters after getting down from the bus when you are coming back to the hotel. Bath mats are not provided. No refrigerator provided in the room.
