Breakfast was brought to our room at exactly the time we requested the evening before,by our hosts and it was delicious. They are most welcoming and we will return in October. The only comment I would make , our suite was upstairs, no problem for us but of course necessary to carry bags. However I am sure our hosts would have gladly helped us. An added bonus is the property is on a farm with an excellent vending machine selling local eggs, potatoes, milk jam etc.per

It was all perfect

Extremely spacious room with full equipped kitchen (fridge, microwave, pots and pans) Big shower and toilet room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived late, the keys were placed somewhere safe, and a note from the owner showed us the way. The breakfast was served in the time we said in our room. Fresh croissants, milk, juice, coffee, fresh bread, and marmalde. Only 10m from Calai Eurotunnel. Definitely, we'll come back.

Everything was good.

This was our second stay at the property and we came back as we enjoyed it so much the first time. The property is in a beautiful setting and we took advantage of the local eggs, milk and cheese onsite. The room is very spacious and decorated in a very beautiful style. And best of all we love the breakfast, very good croissants, and so many jams and spreads, along with fresh juice and fabulous coffee. The hosts are very friendly and helpful, especially as we were delayed in Dover, they were quick to respond to our messages and made the whole stay relaxed and enjoyable. Thank you so much!! :-)

This is the third time we have stayed at this property and each time we have enjoyed the stay. The setting is lovely, on a working farm, but also exceedingly handy for travellers from or to the UK as it’s less than a 30 minute drive from le Shuttle. The staff are extremely accommodating with regards to a late check-in and we have arrived in the middle of the night on two occasions now and the owners just leave a message informing us which room we’re staying in. And the best part of our stay is the wonderful breakfast tray of bread and croissants that is brought to the room in the morning. Perfect!

The breakfast was delivered with lovely presentation, was fresh, lots of food & delicious. Just what we needed to get us through our return journey home. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were spotless. Thank you 😊

Our only disappointment was that we hadn't been able to arrive earlier & spend more time there. The gites are in a beautiful rural setting, you would not believe you are so close to Calais!

The family who run the property are lovely, they live next door and were really helpful. They greeted us confirming what we wanted for breakfast ( they provided chocolate milk for our son ) he was very excited. The room is situated in an old stable / farm building and has a beautiful rear garden which is completely walled off with their own chickens. It was so lovely. The room itself is nice With a blend of modern and old french furniture. It has everything you need. Close to the le Shuttle for our trip back to the UK. I would say this is a secret gem that we will definitely stay at again.

Nothing. We loved it.

We have stayed at La Cense Hebron on a few occasions. We have never been disappointed. We are regularly met by the host Edouard who is a nice man. He shows us to our room and asks what time for our breakfast and we are sure his English gets better each time. The breakfast is great with local bread and croissant and condiments, fresh orange and coffee and plenty of it for us. The rooms are good for an overnight stay that we have. There is a Carrefour supermarket across the road with a 24hr petrol station and pizza truck and few restaurants nearby. The rooms are always clean, neat and tidy. and the beds are comfortable. Each has its own private bathroom.

Nothing all good

What a wonderful find! Arriving at sunset to the accommodation was an added bonus. The rooms are spacious with great facilities and some lovely touches that for the price we certainly didn’t expect, teas and bottled water etc. The breakfast was amazing and far more than the 4 of us could manage. The hosts were brilliant too and couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. Oh and the beds were fantastically comfortable as well!

The only downside is the proximity of the main road if facing the rear of the property but only heard as we slept with the windows wide open!

As good as ever. We were on a 5 night trip and stayed at la Cense Hebron on the first and last nights. It was possibly the first time we have stayed here in Autumn. We love the spacious rooms and, in spite of the cool weather, our room was warm and comfortable. Breakfast is always good. We shall be back on our next trip across the Channel!

Safe, secure, simple, clean, restful, easy. Used Mobil data for internet, location from highway/calais, for end/start of journey it works if you go with the flow of the basic nature. We use every year! Friendly people & amazing aerobatics of the martins & the supermarket over the road (just the martins do the air show, not the supermarket)
