We arrived late in the evening and had a bit of trouble understanding which code we were supposed to use in order to gain access through the front doors. We rang for help using the intercom available but were still left a little confused. Eventually a French speaking father and son kindly helped us and despite the language barrier, we managed to decipher the code to our room. The room was clean and tidy, toilet was a little on the tight side but the shower was a good size, with excellent water pressure and hot water. The bed was comfortable and we had a nice view from the room. The staff member who served us breakfast was so lovely, really helpful and kind, she had a warm, friendly face first thing in the morning.

Excellent location very friendly and welcoming staff.The Room was very clean and tidy but sadly let down by poor mantinence because the shower bracket was broken so you needed to hold the shower head in your hand plus the heating didn't work otherwise everything was fine.

Some noise due to fact we had a ground floor room near reception- normally preferable but I think we were just unlucky in that contractors were undertaking work overnight.

This is the third time we have stayed here and the warm welcome from sliva and her team is always very welcomed, sliva has again been so helpful it makes our stay easier and always a welcome with our 3 small dogs. Perfect stay for warm welcome, very comfortable bed, very good breakfast, close to many restaurants and so close to the tunnel, perfect stop over

Esther at the desk was absolutely amazing. She went far beyond what is expected and made my stay a dream. Bed comfortable. Room spotlessly clean. Room practical for a short stay.

Price should be lower for the type of room. Competitors are cheaper.

We had an unforeseen over night stop at this hotel in Calais due to our animal health certificate being incorrectly filled in by vets in Florence. So we had to re-administer our dog the correct worming tablet abd had to wait 24 hours before we could re-enter UK. The hotel was very clean, and handy for Le Shuttle. The late check out of 12 o clock was also handy for us. Breakfast was good. Nice sized room. Good value

It was very easy to find the hotel, once I remembered that I was looking for B&B hotels and not IBIS!

Not being referred to as “ the 2 star hotel” by the restaurant staff! They were very good but I felt rather second class by their remark! The meal was fine and the service was good

Everything was fine. This is not a luxury hotel. You can use the bar and have breakfast at the adjoining 3 star hotel if you want. The car parking is always great here.

It was way too expensive on this occasion. Surge pricing kicked in due to lack of availability and the Olympics.

Breakfast is good. Always clean. We had an issue with the access machine (arriving around midnight) but once we called the help number the staff member arrived within about 2 minutes to sort it out. Very efficient.

We really like the location of this hotel while using the channel tunnel. Very good for an overnight stay - it's clean, quiet, safe and with easy access to restaurants nearby. Not always someone on reception but there is a machine inside the door where you can book yourself in and be given a code for your room keypad. Staff are friendly and continental breakfasts are very good.
