It was very easy to check in and the person on the desk was very welcoming and provided a lot of explanations. The room was fairly quiet despite being quite close to the main road.

The room amenities were very basic and looking old. I was not sure whether the shower and soap dispenser was clean. The room was extremely small and struggled to move around the room despite being 165cm and quite petite in size. I could barely sit on the toilet. So overall I would kudos to fit in so many things within so little square meter but in my opinion it goes against better judgment as I could barely sit down on the toilet...

The reception lady was charming and helpful . The hotel was spotless and exceeded our expectations in every way Locked gate at night is a big plus as car very secure . I think the young lady at the reception was very professional and needs a special compliment. Breakfast was very good and serverywas kept immaculate .

The handrails on the exterior stairs looked grubby but that’s being picky when it’s meant to be helpful as the rest was so immaculate it would only take a moment to wipe them down.

First time at this particular B&B Hotel, receptionist was exceptionally effective, spoke excellent English, knew I was staying and had already allocated me a downstairs room as requested. She gave easy to follow instructions for finding the room/parking and a 10% discount for local restaurants which she described. The room was very clean, comfortable bed, strong shower and plenty of storage for one night before the ferry, 17 minutes drive to the ferry entrance. We'll stay again, excellent value for money.

This is a very good value for money hotel, nothing to dislike here.

Traditionally satisfied with this stay, used many times as overnight stay, we like the position, it has it's own parking, room is clean, bed is comfortable, heating is excellent (if you are not used to sleep in cold room), it feels good after long cold day to enter in warm room, person at reception has equally warm welcoming smile, it warms you up immediately and makes you feel less tired, every now and then we get it at discounted price, and that's what make us coming back whenever we have a chance.

This isn't the Ritz, but what you are booking is a room with aircon, a king size bed, two pillows, tv, phone, small table and a chair, three shelves and a clothes rail and hangers. En suite showroom, with toilet, handbasin, shower cubicle, toilet rolls, towels and soap. All clean and fresh. You will receive a warm welcome from the staff and they are very accommodating. The breakfast is a continental breakfast with the added bonus of scrambled egg and crispy bacon. There is secure parking with the gates closed overnight (a code is needed to open them). There are shops and restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great place for stopping on a long journey or a few nights to take in Calais.

Everything was as it should be, no complaints at all.

Hotel was easy to find just off the main road through the centre of Coquelles - plenty of restaurants close by for a bite to eat. Room and bathroom was spotless and bed was really comfortable. Hotel was just five minutes from Eurotunnel check-in so perfect for those catching an early crossing.

Parking was limited and the spaces were tight - fortunately we were there by late afternoon and were driving a relatively small car but we might have struggled to park in the secure area if we'd arrived late or had a large 4x4 type vehicle.

The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming on both stays (26/07 and 12/08). We were offered free coffees to either drink there or take away in the car - this never happened in the B&B Place de Cantorbery where we normally stay four times per year and where we normally pay more for a family room. We have found our new hotel for our travels in the Summer and for Christmas - MERCI!

Check in was easy. I was provided with a gate code and after check in we were provided with a room code. Very clean. I added that I was gluten free and when we arrived for breakfast the staff provided me with gluten free bread and mandalines, and said I could have as much as I wanted. They were so lovely and this was a lovely end to our holiday.

Difficult to find something we didn’t like!

Quality of room was quite a cut above other budget hotels we have used

Booking in. Arrived just after reception had closed on a Sunday. Followed on screen instructions. It asked for individual names of guests and I needed to pay the tax separately for each room. Felt it could have been simpler. Especially after a 9 hour drive, it seemed an added complication.

Cleanliness and staff were very polite and helpful. Location of hotel, easy to find. Breakfast plentiful and varied, excellent value. We wouldn't pay much less for a coffee at any of the service stations on the road for the price we paid for breakfast!!! Definitely will stay again, good value!!!! If you want 5 star then pay 5 star prices!!! No complaints from us and dog friendly.
