While visiting friends in Messac, France we stayed over night in the near-by lovely old town of Bain-de-Bretagne. The beautiful old Inn had several dinner dining rooms and a separate breakfast room with a very good buffet breakfast. There was onsite front parking and was secure parking in an inclosed, locked compound in back. The Inn part was in the back of the complex with a separate entrance. Room was clean, had a comfortable bed, desk, en-suite bathroom and closets. After check in we were free to come and go and did not see the staff that much mostly because we were visiting friends elsewhere. It was very convenient for us.

We were on the ground floor facing the street, no traffic problem as it is a small town, but there was only a light curtain and no drape.

Staff were excellent and had lots of humour. Although our French is passable they made it easy for us with the option of English menus. The room was very clean. Great secure parking.

Breakfast was a high cost which did not match the quality of food. Shame the croissants were the frozen small variety rather than fresh. Overall the food was OK but not great.

Although part of a network, it felt like a very homely family run place. The kids loved the room we were in up in the tower with a mezzanine bed and spacious family room. The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely.

Booking.com, when I entered that we had three children the app tried to make me book two rooms so I entered 2 children. This caused confusion on check in but the hotel were immediately able to provide one room that was more than spacious for a family of 5.

Beautiful little town location’ food and wine was lovely One member of staff stuck out in particular for us such a wonderful woman just a shame on the language barrier but totally our fault. Left her a tip. Really grateful to have her deal with us 😊

Property was clean well looked after and it has a lovely restaurant downstairs

My son and his two children stayed overnight on his way to our house in south west France. He had a trailer and was very pleased to find he could leave it parked in a secure place.

His daughter is a coeliac and couldn’t find provisions for breakfast although I had asked prior to their stay nobody responded.

The hotel was very clean and had comfortable beds. It had a lovely restaurant with good service and wasn't, overpriced..

The room we stayed in didn't have air conditioning and so it was very warm at night .But it was ideal for an overnight stop.

We had just one meal in the restaurant and it was excellent we went to visit friends and the hotel was between the two of them it was also east access to the ferry at st malo

Great location for short 1hour 15 minutes to the ferry at St Malo. Nice little town with the hotel in the square, busy restaurant which served drinks and then meals available from 7pm , nice secure parking off the road , good size room with electric shutter on the window, comfortable very good size bed , tv , with good English spoken films , if you hunt through the channels , big easy access shower , be paitent waiting for the hot water to come through on the shower , I was up at 5:30 so probably the first to want hot water and one of the furthest away from the boiler , but good shower . Lovely meal in the restaurant, and good value compared with many places , would definitely recommend and use again.

Spacious rooms with a unique building. Excellent shower. Friendly staff who let me practice my French! Outstanding restaurant.

Beds a little uncomfortable and rooms warm with no aircon - had to leave window open which meant traffic noise woke us a couple of times but nothing too disruptive.

The bed was comfortable,bathroom facilities good,staff friendly and welcoming.

Restaurant not open,no coffee or tea in room just a kettle,bath towels too small,room not ideal for a dog owner
