While visiting friends in Messac, France we stayed over night in the near-by lovely old town of Bain-de-Bretagne. The beautiful old Inn had several dinner dining rooms and a separate breakfast room with a very good buffet breakfast. There was onsite front parking and was secure parking in an inclosed, locked compound in back. The Inn part was in the back of the complex with a separate entrance. Room was clean, had a comfortable bed, desk, en-suite bathroom and closets. After check in we were free to come and go and did not see the staff that much mostly because we were visiting friends elsewhere. It was very convenient for us.

We were on the ground floor facing the street, no traffic problem as it is a small town, but there was only a light curtain and no drape.

Most things were fine .

We had the breakfast, we had our dog with us and when we booked breakfast and asked about the dog they said it was fine. When we went down in the morning we were told to eat in a different area to everyone , which was fine but the table was a little coffee table which was arkward. had we know beforehand were we would be sitting we would have eaten elsewhere.

Staff were excellent and had lots of humour. Although our French is passable they made it easy for us with the option of English menus. The room was very clean. Great secure parking.

Breakfast was a high cost which did not match the quality of food. Shame the croissants were the frozen small variety rather than fresh. Overall the food was OK but not great.

Beautiful little town location’ food and wine was lovely One member of staff stuck out in particular for us such a wonderful woman just a shame on the language barrier but totally our fault. Left her a tip. Really grateful to have her deal with us 😊

Property was clean well looked after and it has a lovely restaurant downstairs

Although part of a network, it felt like a very homely family run place. The kids loved the room we were in up in the tower with a mezzanine bed and spacious family room. The meal we had in the restaurant was lovely.

Booking.com, when I entered that we had three children the app tried to make me book two rooms so I entered 2 children. This caused confusion on check in but the hotel were immediately able to provide one room that was more than spacious for a family of 5.

My son and his two children stayed overnight on his way to our house in south west France. He had a trailer and was very pleased to find he could leave it parked in a secure place.

His daughter is a coeliac and couldn’t find provisions for breakfast although I had asked prior to their stay nobody responded.

The convenience to us of 1. Location, between Vendee and Roscoff. 2. Clean, quiet room. Comfortable bed. Good furnishings. Excellent bathroom with large shower. 3. Restaurant. 4. Breakfast 5. Parking. 6. Lift to rooms.

Very clean and comfortable. Nice breakfast on offer.

Restaurant was only offering their Menu du Jour ( a Monday evening) which was too limited for us. A pity as we'd chosen to stay based on recommendation regarding the food.

The hotel was very clean and had comfortable beds. It had a lovely restaurant with good service and wasn't, overpriced..

The room we stayed in didn't have air conditioning and so it was very warm at night .But it was ideal for an overnight stop.

We had just one meal in the restaurant and it was excellent we went to visit friends and the hotel was between the two of them it was also east access to the ferry at st malo
