Lovely triple room with patio doors and balcony looking into the garden and mountain. Very comfortable beds and bedding.

There was no space in the very limited parking which was not made clear from the booking information. It was full when we arrived and the only parking was public parking across the road. Insecure parking even if free was a concern when the car was full whilst we were travelling. More annoyingly was a very unsympathetic attitude from the staff member. It was a shame as the hotel room and location are good. Probably best to ring ahead and ask for a parking space to be reserved. However there was space for motorbikes. There is also no blue badge/disabled parking space and steps to the entrance and no lift to the rooms so not good for disabled travellers. I noted that at least 2 of the 9 places were local number plates so probably staff.

Location was good. 10 minutes walk to the gates of the town. It's a steep walk though. Keep in mind the town is based on a steep hill too. Parking available at the hotel.. And free parking is available next to the hotel also. Bedroom was clean and bed is comfortable. Friendly staff.

No kettle. No air conditioner or fan. Room was too hot in August. So we had to keep the window open. Trash bins next to the hotel. You hear the lids bang everytime it is used. Got woken up by the Garbage clearing car early in the morning.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It's between the old and the new town. You have everything you need. It has a bus stop near the hotel but we didn't take the shuttle to the lifts. The breakfast was the same every day but nevertheless it was very delicious. It was clean and cozy. The staff was very polite. We didn't have any unpleasant experiences throughout our stay in Briancon. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to visit the French Alpes.

The bathroom door. It's was not possible to close the door entirely and therefore it was very uncomfortable to use the toilet. It had gaps between the wall and the door from which you can see the bed in the room. But our friends didn't have the same problem so I believe this inconvenience was an exception.

Very stylish and comfortable hotel - extremely clean with everything we could have wished for. Breakfast was great - lots of variety and very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful and prepared to go the extra mile to help. Parking on-site was a bonus and very convenient location for the Old Town (and the main town down the hill). We would certainly recommend this hotel and will return.

Beautiful wood-pannelled room with a nice balcony and large walk-in shower. Good location within easy walking distance of the fortified historic city, yet easy to reach by car with free parking on site.

* The room lacks soundproofing; the television from the neighouring room was very audible. * The breakfast buffet does not include bread; instead, bread is delivered to your table upon request (in small amounts). This in itself would not be a problem, but the breakfast staff seemed overworked and can be difficult to get hold of. Once it was finally delivered though, the bread was delicious. * The view from the balcony is somewhat obstructed by large trees.

Fabulous room, very short walk up to the old town although we didn't arrive till 5pm so most of the shops were closed. Lovely to wander around and had a drink at a bar before wandering down to the newer part of town. Plenty of restaurants open and had a fabulous steak frites. We only stayed one night but everything was great - kettle and coffee machine in the room and a very comfortable bed and pillows.

The hotel is well located very near the old town and it is a 10 minute walk to the Grande Rue. The staff were very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty to eat at breakfast.

Perfect value for money. Simple but lovely breakfast. Location is great 15min by walk to the slopes and less than 10min walk to the old town. Please note that the street is very steep and up hill, so even if you can walk it is not suitable for elderly or people with disabilities.

Great location, parking available, lovely rooms and splendid bathroom. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and welcoming.

It was very hot weather (37c) and although it was fabulous to have bit balcony windows a fan would have been very welcome as it got very hot in the room even with the blinds down.

Great location and with parking. Nice rooms with views of the mountains. There is also a breakfast available at the property for 13 euros.

There is nothing to complain about. However, people should know the hotel is located on a fairly steep street.
