I was expecting a half decent off-season ski hotel. We got much more! Huge, clean, comfortable rooms. Great breakfast And the nicest burger ever at a restaurant nearby

The rest of this section is information for potential guests : parking is across the street about two minutes away; entrance to the rooms is from the street at the back up some steep steps; so you go outside and round a corner into the bar (reception is there) to access the breakfast room.

The accommodation itself is basic, it has everything you need – clean, comfortable, and well-located. However, what truly sets this place apart is the outstanding staff. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We had a few situations where we needed some extra support, and they couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, and their genuine care and hospitality made all the difference. The café setup is perfect – a simple menu with fast, high-quality food at reasonable prices. The bar and restaurant staff are always friendly, ensuring you feel welcome and looked after. The owners also made us feel incredibly at home and are the perfect hosts. The location is unbeatable – from the hotel’s ski storage, you can be on your skis within 45 seconds. Absolutely spot on! For ski hire, we recommend Ski Service up the road for slightly better-quality gear. Also, buying your lift passes from the hotel is a great way to save money. Overall, this hotel does exactly what it promises, with exceptional service and a prime location. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend it to others!

A little hotel connected to the bar/restaurant below. The room was small, but comfy and quiet. The breakfast was solid and the hotel is right in the middle of town, such that there is a town - Montgenevre is small and not very interesting.

In the middle of the blazing heat wave of 2025 Hotel Alpis Cottia was a welcome, cool stop-over. Obviously the real business of the hotel is the ski season, but cyclists and motorcyclists make it worth opening for the summer. The hotel is a simple lodge style building, lined with wood and well insulated. The facilities are up to date with comfortable beds and lots of hot water in the shower. Evening meals are not available, but there are good mountain restaurants in the village. Breakfast, on the other hand is truly generous.

Breakfast was good, especially their bread and croissants. Room was comfortable. Above all we liked the location, the possibility to go to ski area without taking the car, just crossing the street. Also to have a free car parking in front of the hotel was very comfortable.

The breakfast was same for all the week )). Coffee didn't meet our expectations. In toilet room there was no heater. TV channels were not international.
