I recently stayed at this hotel while passing through and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the Eurotunnel and the ferry, which was very convenient for my travels. The parking is completely free, and the room rates are very reasonable. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea, and the heating was excellent and adjustable, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was plentiful and varied apart from the usula they provided with a good selection of fruits, yogurts, and soy milk, catering to those with lactose intolerance. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. .

The only downside was that, although the bathroom was clean and spotless, there was a rather unpleasant musty smell from the drains. Additionally, the room was quite small, but given the price, it was still good value for money

We were concerned that the Hotel might be a bit "basic" for the price we paid, but we could not have been more wrong. The staff were extremely helpful and anxious to please and the place spotless. Whilst the main meal was simple but adequate, the breakfast was to die for, a complete range of breakfast goodies, from cranberries and hazelnuts to grilled bacon, scrambled eggs and freshly boiled eggs, incl. a variety of breads and cakes, meats and cheeses. Would recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Calais.

Modernisation work soon to commence to update accomodation, as parts are beginning to look a little tired.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable and also have tea making facilities (a big plus for us) plenty of free parking. Restaurant is very good (when it's open) and the breakfast has plenty of choice. Third time staying here and planning to stay again. Dogs are also made welcome.

Only one point that may be a deal breaker for some is that our trip had to be planned to stay here on a week night. Apparently the restaurant doesn't open at the weekend (as we found out last year) and having this facility on site does save having to go out and find a meal after a long day.

As visitors from Scotland, we must say that the hotel was absolutely perfect. Check-in was quick and smooth, the reception staff were friendly, and the room was spotless. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel bar, which served us until midnight. We enjoyed the local beer and even took some back to our room. In the morning, we were treated to a fresh and hearty breakfast with a great selection of French cuisine. We were truly impressed and will definitely return to this hotel in the future. Thank you!

The receptionist/barman/waiter/chef was outstanding - doing those four jobs simultaneously with gracious efficiency.

Shame the tv remote was broken and the tv didn’t have any English language channels. The restaurant is ‘closed’ at the weekend - which was a shame as there aren’t many amenities within easy walking distance - but the excellent receptionist rustled up a fantastic two course meal from the snack menu that was better than many UK restaurants!

I was not able to turn on the radiator but overall temperature was still OK. Some hotels at France provide their EV charging free of charge over the night. Maybe the Management Team could consider to provide this facility for Customers with their EV as well. Thank you. I am very satisfied from staying at this Hotel. Doubtlessly, I am happy to back in the future.

It was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful

Yet again ibis close there restaurant on a Saturday and offer a snack after long day on the road, the snack was poor quality and not much choice and who wants to have to drive to find a restaurant in the area. I think they should warn you if this is the case on your date you booked. 3 ibis hotels on the trot it’s not good and will look elsewhere with different group of hotels

Fenced and gated car park. We asked for and were allocated a ground floor room as my wife had injured her leg. Comfy bed with extra pillows provided in the room. Good bathroom. Evening meal was fine. A very pleasant patio for a drink. Breakfast fine. Short, well signposted drive to the port. (Turn left out of car park, right at junction and turn right immediately to pick up sign posts)

Room was compact. This may not be representative of all rooms. I don’t think there is a lift but check this if important. No sign of air con in our room. Not a budget hotel but apart from evening meal not a lot better.

The staff were very helpful and we were allocated us a ground floor room on the outward and return journeys. This meant far easier access for us with our Golden Retriever dog and managing our overnight luggage. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable including the bed ( King Size) and quiet. The car park was free and the breakfasts were excellent. We would recommend The ibis Car Ferry Hotel to anyone. A special thank you to the reception staff and a very helpful cleaning lady who helped us with our luggage as we coped with our dog during our exit to the car on the return journey to the car ferry. Nothing at all

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. Good choice of breakfast items in the buffet breakfast to suit all tastes. Clean breakfast area.

They have an egg boiler machine that clearly doesn't work properly. The machine has a guide to how long to leave the egg cooking for depending on how you eat your eggs. for soft boiled it was 3 minutes, medium 6minutes or hard boiled 9 minutes. It took 40 minutes for the egg to be soft boiled and even them some of the egg white still wasn't cooked.
