I recently stayed at this hotel while passing through and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the Eurotunnel and the ferry, which was very convenient for my travels. The parking is completely free, and the room rates are very reasonable. The room had a kettle with coffee and tea, and the heating was excellent and adjustable, which I really appreciated. The breakfast was plentiful and varied apart from the usula they provided with a good selection of fruits, yogurts, and soy milk, catering to those with lactose intolerance. The staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. .

The only downside was that, although the bathroom was clean and spotless, there was a rather unpleasant musty smell from the drains. Additionally, the room was quite small, but given the price, it was still good value for money

Clean. Comfortable bed. A hot shower that worked and drained. Good breakfast. Handy for an excellent Pizza restaurant/takeaway called Pizza Fam’s - 5 minutes walk. Good (and large) car park. Handy for nearby Intermarche supermarket.

No electrical sockets by the bed or in the bathroom. The only sockets in our room were over the far side of the room under the window (a minor point but not convenient for charging your phone). Decor is basic but clean. Small TV but it did work well. No lift.

We were concerned that the Hotel might be a bit "basic" for the price we paid, but we could not have been more wrong. The staff were extremely helpful and anxious to please and the place spotless. Whilst the main meal was simple but adequate, the breakfast was to die for, a complete range of breakfast goodies, from cranberries and hazelnuts to grilled bacon, scrambled eggs and freshly boiled eggs, incl. a variety of breads and cakes, meats and cheeses. Would recommend to anyone wanting a stay in Calais.

Modernisation work soon to commence to update accomodation, as parts are beginning to look a little tired.

As visitors from Scotland, we must say that the hotel was absolutely perfect. Check-in was quick and smooth, the reception staff were friendly, and the room was spotless. We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel bar, which served us until midnight. We enjoyed the local beer and even took some back to our room. In the morning, we were treated to a fresh and hearty breakfast with a great selection of French cuisine. We were truly impressed and will definitely return to this hotel in the future. Thank you!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable and also have tea making facilities (a big plus for us) plenty of free parking. Restaurant is very good (when it's open) and the breakfast has plenty of choice. Third time staying here and planning to stay again. Dogs are also made welcome.

Only one point that may be a deal breaker for some is that our trip had to be planned to stay here on a week night. Apparently the restaurant doesn't open at the weekend (as we found out last year) and having this facility on site does save having to go out and find a meal after a long day.

The personal was friendly, there’s a little bar down in the hall and a cute little terrace. The room was clean. Comfortable bed. Small tv. A kettle and some instant coffee as well as some tea was awaiting us in our room. Bath was clean and big enough for a nice shower.

Very warm in our room. No air conditioning and lots of spiders at the windows, so we didn’t want to open the window. - but if you’re fine with spiders you’re good 👍🏻

The staff member working was very nice and helpful, and the food we had was lovely

We were in room 8 and I think that the windows do not keep out the noise. At 2.30am I had to go outside to ask two people who were having a debate to please be quiet, and they were actually about 10-15 metres away from our window. Also, it would be great to have an English channel on the TV, simply because there is not much to do otherwise

The room was very basic — clean but minimal — and the breakfast offered the usual standard options, nothing special. However, the location is excellent, just an 8-minute drive from the ferry dock, which made getting around super convenient. The best feature by far is the parking — spacious, easy to access, and a huge plus if you’re driving. Overall, a solid choice if you’re looking for convenience over luxury.

The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Several choices of cereals, breads, cheeses and meat and much more. It was a real surprise to find such a spread in a budget hotel. Location was the second huge plus. A mere 10-minute drive to Calais Car Ferries was just ideal to catch our ferry in the morning. Besides its tiny size, the room was clean and looked very new.

The room was very small. No refrigerator or a/c.

The receptionist/barman/waiter/chef was outstanding - doing those four jobs simultaneously with gracious efficiency.

Shame the tv remote was broken and the tv didn’t have any English language channels. The restaurant is ‘closed’ at the weekend - which was a shame as there aren’t many amenities within easy walking distance - but the excellent receptionist rustled up a fantastic two course meal from the snack menu that was better than many UK restaurants!
