A first class immaculate and beautiful bedroom on first floor within a gorgeous house and its setting. Our host Catherine was just so lovely and made our stay so special. Breakfast was prepared and was just perfect for us. Catherine makes delicious fruit jams and is an amazing baker! You will see this at breakfast time. House has private parking which was great. Having a car is best to stay here and to get around carcassonne.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location with its own pool. A wonderful escape for relaxing before or after a days sightseeing. Catherine our host couldn’t do enough for us.

The location is approximately a 15 minute drive from the old city and we were struggling to get either an uber or taxi as it was the height of the season. Therefore if you don’t want to drive you need to be somewhere closer to town.

Fabulous boutique hotel with a very friendly owner. The decor and facilities are excellent and the back terrace with pool is lovely to sit outside in the evening with wine by the pool. We had two evening meals which were superb and excellent value. A real gem.

It was exceptionally hot and the air on was just too noisy to use at night so found it difficult to sleep.

Quiet village location, in a pretty rural setting. Catherine is a friendly and very considerate host. Our room was spacious and stylish. The pool was an excellent addition and the breakfasts were delicious. - a wonderful base for a perfect stay

The property was beautiful, quiet, relaxing, spotlessly clean and convenient as long as you have a car to get around as nothing in the village itself but Carcassonne is only a 10 minute drive and also convenient for lots of other places to visit We could not fault our stay and would definitely go back

The breakfast was superb everything was fresh and homemade, fruit yogurt, cheeses, meat, bread, juice, tea, coffee, jams of all kinds. Breakfast was seved in the walled courtyard and was a real treat. The courtyard looked on to the pool area which was so pretty. A swim before breakfast recommended.

This place is a hidden little gem. Everthing was beautiful.

The house was very clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff, Catherine is an excellent hostess and gave me very good tips.

I liked everything. Only a small issue with the bus service, which finishes before 6 pm. However taxis and Uber are available. I really recommend that.

We loved everything about Aux Anges Gardiens. The room was stunning, the property is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cakes, and our hostess Catherine was lovely - very helpful and attentive. Reubens the Labrador is a delight 😁.

The only thing that we didn’t like was the fact that we had to leave!!

This medieval French home is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden and pool. The owner is absolutely amazing and prepared an incredible breakfast included. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. Parking is onsite and the location in Carcassonne is very convenient. I highly recommend this charming place!

The location was excellent, a 10 minute drive into Carcasonne, it was quiet and easy to park. The host was very very friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous, bright, spacious, with the beautiful scent of jasmine drifting in from the garden. There was excellent tea making facilities downstairs. It was a wonderfully quiet and relaxing location

Overall, we loved everything about our stay. We even ate there on our 2nd night, with the host cooking the meal which was great.
