Everything. The perfect location, the beautiful property and grounds and swimming pool, the best staff of any hotel we’ve stayed in and the best food of our entire 22 day France trip. Breakfast and dinner every day plus a couple lunches. I can’t say enough about the staff’s professionalism and kindness and willing to help us with every detail we needed.

Strong rating mainly based on the staff and the restaurant. Location is very good, we were only there one night and room was fine and comfortable but staff and especially in restaurant went out of their way. The food was excellent and amazing wine list. Worth staying just for that. Not much in the way of grounds or view and that might disappoint given pictures but would still really recommend.

Domaine D’Auriac perfectly combines old school charm with family like warmth. The building is beautiful and rooms are spacious. The owner and her family are around to attend to every details. Staff are superbly knowledgeable and helpful. The swimming pool is beautiful AND big with lovely environment. It is 5 mins drive to the Cite and yet feels like an oasis. Last but not the least, the restaurant is fantastic - authentic, innovative menu all reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

Location was great for us. We didn't stay for breakfast. The room was lovely but a little tired, as were the bathrooms. We had dinner in the restaurant, the food and service was exceptional. As an overall package this Hotel was great, an oldy woldy charm with brilliant staff. It exceeded our expectations.

Rooms and bathrooms in need of some refurbishment but its comfortable and clean. I guess the faded elegance is part of the charm.

We have known the hotel for 30 years and it never disappoints. The meals were still as good as we remembered them, particularly the dinner. The owners and the staff were ‘aux petits soins’.

The bathroom could be modernised but everything worked.

Breakfast was served but with no choice - just presented to you For such a high quality hotel it was disappointing that the Bistro was closed Wednesdays in high summer and only other dining available on site was very expensive (in our opinion) ‘gastronomic’ restaurant.

The ambience of the place was excellent - calm, tranquil, serene and very pretty. The building and interior were very nice and the place was an ideal venue to spend an anniversary weekend. The dinner at the gastronomic restaurant was excellent and the wine choice was excellent - the sommelier was superb in his recommendations including a local rose desert wine which went beautifully with our dessert. The service of the staff was excellent and the place exceeded our expectations overall. My wife also had the facial on site (provided by a third party but arranged by the property) which was also excellent.
