Lovely renovated cottage in country setting with exposed beams, stone walls, wooden staircase and stable door. It maintains the atmosphere of an old building but has modern and comfortable kitchen and bathroom. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage. We had dinner there one evening, it was great and good value for money. Location about 20 mins drive from Carcassonne and 10 mins from stunning Cabrespine caves. You do need a car. Alex suggested a one-day driving tour route which we enjoyed. Owners charming and helpful.

No mosquito nets meant that we didn't have the windows open for fresh air. Wifi was not strong in some areas. Apart from that all perfect.

This place is a gem. The hosts are a friendly Dutch couple who do their best to make your stay memorable and super pleasant. We had a lovely very clean room in a recently renovated building on the property grounds. The grounds are very nice, with a lovely pool to cool off after a hot day. They offer a breakfast with a range of options to choose from and it gets served in your private terrace. Wonderful. Everything inside our room and bathroom was very clean and well-thought-out. We would have stayed longer than one night but they were already booked up. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

The Owners, Alex and Madeline were lovely people who had a vision and were implementing it beautifully with their gites and rooms. Great Value for money, and spotlessly clean. The Breakfast and Food they provided was homemade with Love and Care. You really can’t ask for more.

Remote lodge in the countryside. Cosy and clean room and quiet surroundings. Friendly and welcoming owners. 15min by car from Carcassone and 15min from the Montagne Noire hiking area. Excellent place for nature lovers and dogs.

You need a car to go anywhere

Good communication prior to arrival. Great welcome, room had air-condioning and a ceiling fan. An evening meal can be ordered on arrival. Quality of food very good. Situated on the Hexatrek trail

The host was amazingly helpful, kind, and informative. The food was lovely.

We had to spend extra to hire a car which would have been helpful information to have from booking.com. however, to stay there, it was worth it.

charmant house in the wild countryside. alex and madelon are extremely nice and welcoming. they showed us around the place, the beautiful farm and invited us to try the newly built pool. very close to Carcassonne and amenities.

i would have preferred a little fridge in the room as it was very hot, but madelon offered to keep us the food in their fridge so it was fine for us
