Spacious appartment. Really close to Carcassone castle (5-10min)!!! Clean and confortable. If we visit Carcassone again we would like to repeat. (we have traveled with 2 kids, 3 years old + 1 baby (2 months)) Easy instructions to arrive after closing reception. Just pay attention to take the proper deviation to the appartment. It is quite small and google maps is a little confusing. But if you stop nearby and inspect by foot you will find it easily. We did that because it was already dark and we couldnt find the place. Parking spot for 10eur per day (really useful)

Kitchen is not realy full equiped, but it works. Apart from forks, knife, plates, ... it only has a pan and a small pot for cooking. You have to pay 5eur for kitchen soap + rags

Location was brilliant, short walk to the castle and to restaurant. Spacious apartment and clean

All the extras that had to be paid for. An apartment should be equipped for cooking with kitchen equipment. The need to pay extra for a kettle or toaster, washing up liquid and tea towels was very poor. Particularly as you're expected to wash any dishes you use OR pay another supplement. Parking in the underground car park was essential as on street parking is difficult. Another supplement of €10 , but it was worth it.

Proximity to citee..pretty gardens and the apartment was basic but fine.

Extra charged for myriad extras and signs up warning of fines for not keeping the place clean. I found the 5euro cleaning kit a bit much...just charge a bit extra and provide everything necessary for a stay...washing up liquid, cloths and scourers included.

The Adonis is very close to the Medieval Cite of Carcassonne, the duplex style rooms/ apartments were well equipped and very comfortable and clean. The staff were very helpful and even though the reception closes at around 8pm they ensure you can still access your room. The underground car parking made life simple for a reasonable cost 10 Euros per day! Would definitely recommend the Adonis as a place to stay close to the Cite.

The hill up to the Cite!, But bear in mind castles were built on the high ground for a reason! 😀

The location was perfect for my visit to Carcassonne, just a short walk from the castle town, the river, and good shops. All the kitchen facilities worked well, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-kept.

The building could do with a refurbishment- quite a few noticeable marks on the walls and things like that, but nothing so significant that it really impacted my time there.

The location and the friendliness of the staff.

Breakfast was over priced . There were no fresh fruit and the croissants, chocolate croissant and other pastries were not from a good French bakery. The second bed was a futon and not very comfortable. Finally, there were no shower curtain or glass to keep the water in the tub and taking a shower was not a relaxing experience.

The location was wonderful. I liked the French window and balcony. There was a writing table & comfortable see through chair in the room. There was an accessible plug in my room for charging my phone etc. The WiFi was good. The view from my room was interesting. The gentleman on reception was friendly and helpful. The small lift worked well. There were lots of good places to eat within easy walking distance. The room had double glazing so was quiet and the ensuite was spotless. I was given extra pillows with smiling grace. The breakfast room is well laid out. There was fresh fruit and tasty bread, jam and croissants. The coffee was freshly made each cup. The atmosphere was welcoming and gently old fashioned, while modern facilities were all in place where needed. The history of the hotel is interesting and visiting the historical areas around is very easy from its location.

The breakfast was all cold food. The payment arrangements were not made clear by booking.com. Myself and other visitors were under the impression we had paid in advance. The owners had to explain this was not so. It is embarrassing for everyone concerned that this is not made clear in advance. Please sort this out..

Fantastic location very close to la citè, very friendly staff, good underground secure parking for €10 a night. Spacious apartment with very basic facilities but great for a short stay. The aircon was good and beds comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast but wine, beer, coffee, soft drinks and snacks were available to buy at reception. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again and a great price.

It was a little tired looking, could do with painting and a deep clean. We had to ask for towels ( there were only 2 for 4 of us) and a kettle but this was no problem.

The location was great as close to a walk-way up to the fortress. It is also only a 10 minute walk to an area with restaurants, cafes and bars. and a 5 minute walk to a small grocery shop.

Previous occupiers had left a used saucepan with remains of pasta in the cupboard. This was clearly an oversight.

Room perfect - with all we needed and so spacious and largely clean. But what made this great was excellent continental breakfast and most of all amazing location. Sitting at the foot of the old town it was a pleasant walk up to the 'battlements' of the old Cite - but also on the fringe of the new town so idyllic calm quiet location.

A minor gripe at most - the bedsheets weren't perfect - a little dusty. and the soap dispenser at the sink didnt work - , and the toilet smelt a bit - but both very small observations.
