This is our second visit, and we were not disappointed; we’re already looking forward to next year! The hotel staff were as friendly as ever, and our room was just as I remembered it from last year—clean and well-maintained.

Unfortunately, there was no WiFi for the duration of our stay, which also meant no TV, and if the weather had turned bad, we would have been stuck without entertainment. Additionally, there were no food options available during the day. On our last day, we really didn’t want to go out again and would have loved to enjoy a meal at the hotel while relaxing in front of the TV.

The room was very spacious and well thought out. We had a Studio room with a patio which we really loved. The bed was very comfortable. The room also had a sofa bed which was handy for a visiting friend which the hotel was very happy to accommodate. Robes and slippers were also provided.

The swimming pool is in the shade and never warms in the sun so is too cold to use. I would recommend that it should be heated. There was also a lot of flys and bitting bugs which the hotel should deal better with. I have seen hotels deal with this daily by the gardeners in other countries with this problem.

Our stay at Hotel Pont Levis - Franck Putelat was excellent! The location, right next to the gates of the medieval city of Carcassonne, is incredibly convenient, especially in December when the city is beautifully decorated for the holidays. The hotel’s design is modern and elegant, and the rooms are clean and well-equipped. The staff was extremely kind and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we arrived.

Breakfast was incredible, the size of the hotel and the junior suite was great. with only 12 rooms it seemed very private and intimate. The proximity to the walled city and the taxi rank and rental bikes were perfect for us to explore. The links to another hotel, a brasserie and a 2* Michelin restaurant were perfect. We have friends in Carcassone and will stay there again when we go.

There is absolutely nothing I would change.

You are as close as you can be to Carcassonne as you can be without being inside the walls. My room had a wonderful view of the garden in the back. The shower was awesome with a rainfall shower head, six shower sprays in the walls and a hand held spray. I could have stayed in there for hours. The staff was extremely polite and helpful.

You can't improve on perfection.

Perfect location just next to the citadel. Modern hotel with quality finishings. The receptionist who checked us in was very helpful and speaks English. The shower with the high end sprays are a delight and pleasure !

Breakfast was on the high side, and was packed up at 1030 am sharp without any pre-notification to the guests (only myself then) if any last helpings could be desired. There is no power sockets next to bed. The room is small with no where to place the extra pillows and the bed throw. The wardrobe is old, small, and felt like an ad hoc furniture not in matching with the rest of modern furniture.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in was at 4 pm but we arrived at 12pm and our room was ready. We had a room with a hot tub, which was fabulous. The location is superb as the hotel is across the room from the main entrance to the medieval city. Lovely gardens behind the hotel with brilliant views of the city. Stylish rooms , well decorated and everything was very clean. Convenient parking.

Breakfast was expensive and not worth the money but there are loads of places in the city that serve breakfast, so not a problem.

Located directly in front of the main entrance to the medieval city. Nice walk into the main city where the train station is located and lots of bars and restaurants in the square. Swimming pool was nice. Bus takes you from Carcassonne airport directly to the front of the hotel.

Fabulous location right outside gates of castle. Only 12 bedrooms in the hotel so very intimate. Lovely room and extremely comfortable bed. Very clean with an amazing shower. The staff were particularly warm and friendly. Would throughly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was not the best and when we came down at 09.30 which is not late there was not much of a choice left. Not great value for money but you can chose not to have breakfast and go elsewhere i guess

Superb location right next to the Narbonnaise Gate into the medieval city. Really friendly staff. Hotel had a really nice atmosphere. On site car parking (15 euros per day). Nice room. Old style hotel but with modern style decorations and fittings. Very good continental buffet breakfast. Small but very good swimming pool. There are cheaper hotels in Carcassonne but this hotel is worth the extra cost.
