The property was fantastically located, about a 4 minute walk from the medieval city. Anthony is absolutely lovely and was a convivial and accommodating host, he opened the swimming pool early for us, and was welcoming at breakfast, and with directions and information. The value was fantastic and we really enjoyed our time in Carcasonne.

I honestly cannot think of a bad thing to say, I would thoroughly recommend Maison Mignardise for anyone who wants an autonomous place to stay in Carcasonne, or would appreciate a caring and thoughtful host. The property is exceedingly clean, breakfast was lovely and the neighborhood is quiet and easy to navigate.

The host Anthony was very welcoming and responsive to messages. The breakfast was lovely. Easy access and close to the medieval city. Close to bus drop off from airport. Lovely communal areas and honesty fridge. Would definitely stay again if back in the area . Thank you Anthony x

I didn't mind the toilet and bathroom being separate but maybe a little sink to wash hands in would be nice. Would be nice to have kettle in the room instead of outside.but neither of these things spoilt our lovely stay. X

Location is a 5 min walk from Le Cite, and if you drive, very near the tourist car parks. There are one or two shops on the main road (along with wine tasting!) but the cafes/shops/restaurants in the cite are easily reachable. Husband loved the bed, big room, lots of storage space (cupboard, drawers, wardrobe) with extra pillows/blanket (in addition to the wall heater/cooler) also a couple of chairs; ensuite facilities with towels and again heater. Loved the tea/coffee facilities and the ability to use the fridge/mini fridge and buy juice/local wine. Breakfast was good - fruit, juices, hard boiled eggs, coffee/hot chocolate, pain au chocolat or croissant, fresh bread, jams, cereal and yoghurt. We liked the terrace and the table/chairs/swing chair as well as the lounge sofa which we used a couple of times to relax after coming back in the evening; there are some books/game of chess to use too as well as a small noticeboard with leaflets/local attractions and local magazine of walks etc. We walked from the station and enjoyed the view; walk around the river is nice. Would recommend a walk just before sunset to the cite - very atmospheric, and without the crowds. A special place.

The guest house is perfectly located near to the Medieval City in a lovely quiet area. There is everything you need. The bedrooms are very clean and comfortable. The bathroom is large and modern. The communal refreshment area is great. The just, Anthony, is really helpful, even booked our taxi for our return to the airport. Breakfast was lovely. The pool and outside area is clean and tidy.

Wonderful stay and I'd highly recommend the accomodation. The only thing I would like to add is that the pillows in our double room were very lumpy, we could have done with two pillows each. The hotel should look at renewing bedroom pillows for something more adequate.

Everything was wonderful; location close to the medieval city, and walkable to the town. Breakfasts were wonderful with homemade yoghurt and fresh bread and croissants. Anthony is super welcoming and helpful. The only little thing for me was the bed- the plastic sheet made for uncomfortable sleeping. I ended up sleeping on top of the duvet and covering myself with the extra blanket. Problem solved!

Antoine was an exceptional host. I was taken seriously ill and needed to go to the doctor (eventually to hospital) It was a wet night and hard to get a taxi. Without hesitation he offered to take us to the medical centre in his car, though it was quite late. I could barely walk and he helped me all the way. I am extremely grateful for his kindness way beyond being a host.

The location of this property is excellent, only a short walk from the medieval city. The room was comfortable and clean, the air conditioning working very well. There was a separate balcony to use for everybody, and a small but very nice pool with sunbeds available. Breakfast was served between 8 and 10 a.m. outdoors.

I would have welcomed some more choices of cereal for breakfast. The home made yoghurt with granola was very tasty though. It was great to be able to buy extra drinks during the day, but a few snacks (nuts, crisps, crackers, chocolate) could be added here.

when owner wasn’t on site access to pool was by going outside main door round side of house instead of through inner corridor limited space around pool especially if more than 4 people bin needed in bedrooms only bin available is small bin in bathroom

This was a great, authentic bed & breakfast experience. Our host welcomed us with a big smile at the property, showed us around and gave us valuable pointers about the city. He treated us every morning to a delicious, freshly-made, healthy and diverse breakfast and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The house is very well located, a 5 minutes walk from the old city and the bus stop to the airport/station.
