Fantastic location and wonderful staff

Historic and very comfortable

Very close to the medieval castle..👍. Lovely terrace for a pre-dinner drink looking at the castle walls. Continental breakfast very good. Car parking easy and secure.

Sofa type seats on the terrace way too low/soft to be comfortable for either drinking or eating. A poor selection of spirits in the bar - three types of gin and one type of tonic (Schweppes - a bit old fashioned..)? Bar staff couldn’t do a Limoncello Spritzer - even though you could have a Limoncello…not on the drinks menu…🤔

An amazing location with beautiful views of the medieval city. The service in the hotel was excellent with staff always so helpful and welcoming. On our early arrival, we were greeted warmly and given a fantastic explanation of all the interesting places to visit and recommendations of great places to eat. The facilities were excellent, lovely outdoor pool, pleasant gardens with lots of seating to enjoy a drink looking at the view! Great breakfast. Our bedroom was lovely with views directly across to the walls of the old city, beautiful when illuminated at night, comfortable bed, lots of accessories in the bathroom, coffee machine and thoughtful gift of local confectionery. Totally recommend this hotel.

Excellent location across the road from the Cité Médiéval entrance gate. Nice pool. Good aircon. Helpful, friendly staff. Onsite spa with fabulous treatments. Cool bar that’s a treat to come home to.

No bar fridge. Very expensive during high season. Then car parking & breakfast to add on top. Very cramped bathroom (although with bath) & room also tight with little places to unpack & store stuff

The location was excellent, located a short walk from the Cité and to the new town. Staff were very helpful and the pool was great. Rooms over all were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast was underwhelming. We had it the first morning and opted not to have it again. The produce was of good quality but there was little choice and no hot food bar boiled eggs. In one of our rooms the shower was not working correctly. We could not turn on the large shower head and the drain was blocked so water pooled around our feet. Staff did try to sort the shower head but couldn’t during our stay.

The location is perfect just outside of the castle and the views, grounds and facilities were fantastic. The staff were so pleasant and helpful, it was a lovely place to stay. The bar overlooking the castle and gardens was lovely to sit in and the addition of playing cards on the table was really fun. Breakfast was really good with heaps of food.

We weren't overly happy with our room, it had a low ceiling and very small atticky windows which I found made me feel a bit claustrophobic and also the room had a smell when you walked in. The shower was super small and confined, and it didnt drain well, which we think caused the musty kind of smell.

the location could possibly be the best in Carcassonne. Great view of the lit-walls at night and a very short walk to the gate. The grounds are wonderful yo just relax in when returning from inside the old city...The room was clean and the bathroom was a good size with good toiletries.The pillow was perfect for my specific needs...Our constant contact at the front desk, Hugo, kept good care of us by answering our questions when needed and served us a good breakfast...

Having the toilet a bit aways from the sink area...There was a plumbing (low hot water) issue the day we stayed but the managers were able to accommodate our needs flawlessly until the problem got fixed- I worked in a hotel for years and things happen, it is the response by management that makes the difference: very satisfied with their solution

Location next to the castle with stunning views. The rooms were beautifully stylished. An absolutely lovely mix of classic style with a touch of contemporary design.

It's great that the bar is open 24/7 but the music is so loud and an unpleasant mix and allegedly cannot be altered so we swallowed our drinks escaped to our room. Breakfast is lovely, but with a very limited selection (no buffet) and they don't seem to have a kitchen, so it's a strictly continental breakfast.

Nice hotel in a great location.

Spa experience could have been better. Having paid for a 1 hour massage, the masseus refused to focus on a specific area that was troubling my wife. Instead insisting that she should have booked a different service! We were given a ground floor room with what can only be described as a net curtain at best to block out the view from outside, which also happened to be right in front of the staff entrance!

A truly delightful hotel with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and the sweetest, most relaxed hotel dog that adds to the charm. The breakfast was lovely, and the peaceful grounds are simply beautiful. Perfectly located just steps from the medieval city.

The room was a bit on the dark side, better lighting would be welcomed.
