We were attending our nephew’s wedding at the weekend. It was absolutely amazing & I mean amazing. Very central. Near everything. Spotlessly clean . The staff were amazing , from reception to bar staff to the cleaning staff. Everyone at this hotel work real hard. Fred the barman at the pool bar made our stay. He was upbeat, fun & an amazing asset to your hotel. He also worked the restaurant in the mornings.A very hard worker with always a smile & a laugh & a joke. He had the music on by the pool catering to all ages & nothing was a problem to him. The music was turned down low if the residents needed some peace & quiet . But with our group being a bit lively he turned the music up but not too loud as he was very conscious of other residents. Francesca & the restaurant manager were so lovely. Overall whole staff at this hotel were so kind & friendly and nothing was a problem. Towels for the pool were at our disposal free of charge .

We loved this hotel and it is such good value for money. We stayed with our teenage son and two dogs and the room with the extra single bed was a perfect size. It had direct access to the garden which was so helpful with the dogs, morning and evening. We walked to the citadel which took us only 5 minutes. We could go back and forth to the hotel which made it all so easy, especially when our old dog needed rest. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening which was really superb. €30 for three courses. The highlight was creating your own salad of 5 items with a little pick and choose form for starters. Lemon meringue tart for dessert also! Such lovely serving staff topped it off. I highly recommend this hotel if staying in Carcassonne. A lovely pool, outdoor restaurant and terrace, reasonable breakfast and so close to the citadel.

We really loved this hotel! The staff did an excellent job – everyone was very professional and helpful. Everything was very clean, and both the room and the bathroom were excellent: spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the breakfasts. Parking was convenient, with two spaces available for electric vehicle charging. Sometimes non-electric cars occupied the charging spots, but we still managed to charge our car without any problems.

One thing to keep in mind: you need to book a table in the restaurant for dinner in advance. We didn’t know this and missed out on a table, but the staff kindly organized a lovely dinner for us in our room. The only downside for us was that the heating was a bit too strong, and the air conditioning worked more like a fan, so the room felt quite stuffy at night. We ended up opening the window to sleep more comfortably

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and professional. The location is excellent for the old city which is less than 5 mins walk away. Its also positioned well for the new city via the old pont vieux bridge. Spotlessly clean throughout. Free parking made it good value for money. We didnt eat there but the food looked good and was reasonably priced. I also liked that the hotel promoted sustainability by encouraging guests to use a water station to refill glass bottles rather than providing plastic bottles. Would highly recommend and would stay again. Also we arrived within 10 mins of booking, but were about 4 hours ahead of checking- even so the staff were really helpful and willing to try and book us in earlier or look after our luggage for us. This wasn't a problem for us as we left our luggage in the car in there very secure car park but we appreciated their kindness and helpfulness.

They made our stay wonderful. — the bedroom was clean, huge, it has a nespresso machine, has a selection of tea, and some beverages in the bar which was included in our room fee — breakfast was nice. Has a lot of choices — there’s high-chair for out baby — the restaurant was good too, so when we didn’t wanna go to the city we have an option to just eat at the hotel. — we also have robes and slippers in our bedroom, which I haven’t experienced in any hotels in France except this one. — love the shower and bathtub — very close to the castle, maybe around 5 min walk (we have a baby stroller) We can even see it from our room. — FREE PARKING! This is actually one of the reasons why i decided to book this hotel. The parking fees of some hotels are so pricey or they dont have at all. I highly recommend this hotel if you have a baby.

The wooden shutters didn’t really lock but it stayed in place so we didn’t mind.

Pleasant hotel, very well located next to the Medieval area. The facilities are nice and it was nice to enjoy the pool and green area so overall recommended. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel and ventured into the city for this as well as for the other meals. It is a fair walk from the train station and public transport is limited to get to and from there or into the new part of town. The staff were fine, the lady at the check out was very nice. Just for improvement, the towels and lounge chairs were limited at the pool but this is only a small thing. Also the staff didn’t really know about the bus to the airport and where the stop was which would generally be something you would expect they could help with.

Room small for two persons and not enough shelves /drawers.No shelf in bathroom. No fridge. Stains on carpet in corridor Breakfast a bit chaotic some mornings, many people a bit confused. Coffee machine too difficult to use. Hot water not hot enough Butter portions better. Yoghurt pots better. Venetian blind in room is difficult to use. Net curtain is better and gives privacy.

The room was just as expected, and quite spatious for a family of 4. I think the access to the rooms could be better, but surely they have more accessible rooms for people with disabilities - we had to go through small flights of stairs to get there. We used the pool, which was great because it was sweltering! A bonus point for the hotel is that it provides glass bottles for us to fill with our water, from a free fountain at the reception. Great for sustainability!

Breakfast was good, but not great, and set up in a bit of a chaotic setting. They had some gluten free options for my husband, who is intolerant, which was a plus.

Breakfast was very good with a very nice lady leading it. Lots of choice for breakfast. Diner although was good. Room was big enough, tidy and clean. It was very quiet and the beds are really good quality. I suffer from back problem and it was the best night ever I had, even the day after I had no back pain due to the quality of the mastress. The reception was helpful and polite. We will for sure stop here if we travel again in the area.

I was disappointed that the swimming pool was not open. It is not heated then it was too cold to be open and it needed renovation and a control from the administration to be open. This should be mentioned when we booked, I do not remember to have seen a notice about that it is closed.

very clean and amenities were great- pool area was beautiful and very French style , we had pool access from our room. location : 5 min walk to the citee carcasconne( the walled old city) and then a 25 min walk to new center but there is also a bus outside the hotel to bring you to the new center for only 1€pp and brings you to the center in a few minutes !! but the walk to new center is beautiful as going over the old bridge and site seeing. staff were great and very accommodating for example one of the family members I was with had to store medication in a fridge (none in room) and use it daily and this was made so simple by staff!

nothing really ! perhaps the breakfast is over priced at 16€pp I wouldn’t include it in my stay as it’s just breads cheese cured meats and pancakes - instead there was beautiful bakery that is worth checking out 500m from hotel and a baguette is 1.25€ and delicious
