Serene location, easy reserved parking, comfortable beds, great microwave and electric hob and electric kettle and coffee maker. 10 minute easy walk to the castle, 5 min drive to excellent shops like Lidl, E.Leclerc, Aldi, etc and 10min to the centre of Carcassonne. Mr. Raynaud is a fantastic host and was available to deal with any issues by text any time (very responsive). We came for one night and ended up staying two weeks! Best aparthotel in Carcassonne. And a lovely "hotel" cat named Louise who came to visit 😻

Nothing, we loved our stay.

This cozy hotel is very close to the old town of Carcassonne, just 5mins walking. The bed is extremely comfortable, the room was clean, the coffee in the room is delicious. Shower on the bathroom was spacious and there is also a small kitchen with a fridge. We were staying with our dog, and it was very comfortable that we had garden in front of the room. What stood out the most is the kindness of the staff. We had an issue with our car, and they helped us with storing our luggage for longer, helped us communicate in french with repair shop, calling a taxi etc. We are very grateful and highly recommend 514 Hotel!

Been stopping off here on route to Spain for years. We always take two sometimes three nights break here as always so comfortable and well set out with a great bar/pizzeria with a good vibe and unbelievable views of medival Carcassonne. Only 10 minutes walk to medival Carcassonne just lock up the car until you leave. Hypermarket 5-10 minutes drive if you do need to top up on supplies. Don't forget the supermarkets are all closed on Sunday.

Great location, 7 min walk to the entrance to the wonderful fortified city, where we can find a diverse range of attractions, restaurants, cafes and shops. We did not use the breakfast service. 4 towels were left available, which was great for cold days when drying was more difficult. Wifi worked really well throughout our stay. Contact with the host was always easy, detailed and quick. The space is a reasonable size and has an external green area (which we didn't use due to the bad weather!). Easy check-in and check-out with gate codes and secure boxes.

The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. There were cobwebs and the floor was a little tacky, as well as the kettle lid. We found the mattress super soft, uncomfortable for tall people like us, and the bedding was small and not ironed. The accommodation is very close to the fortified city, but super far from the city center and bus/train station (35min walk). If you are going to travel using public transport services, be aware, because even taxis are scarce.

Perfect location near cite de carcassonne but still quiet. A parking lot for every appartment with an electric gate. A small terrace in front of every appartment gave a lovely opportunity to relax outside. Communication was via Handy where we did get every information for check in and check out. Furthermore we received tips on where to eat or what to visit in the near of Carcassonne. The appartment was very spacious, clean and well equipped.

Nothing just perfect.

We enjoy staying in these suites as they are in such a good location ( 5min walk away from the old city gate) they have a small kitchenette and walk-in shower. The bed is really comfortable and if you stay in winter the air con is so nice and cosy( heat ) when you arrive. The owner Jean sends you an sms with full explanation of how to get in.

Good location with easy walk to medieval city of Carcassonne. Clean apartment. Good bathroom. Easy and safe parking. Nice little outside table and chairs area. Only slight downside very soft pillows could do with some with a bit more support to get a better nights sleep.

Excellent location for exploring the Old City, about 400 meters walking distance. Free secure parking was a welcome bonus. Apartment was an ideal base, and we will definitely book there again if visiting the area.

The description says you will have views..... well.... you can see the hedge two metres away from the window our the back, out front there is a view over the grass of about eight or ten metres, but you can not see anything beyond that. There is a small table and a couple of chairs by the way in, so you can sit outside for breakfast etc, but it is hardly romantic... But use the apartments as a bed for the night base, with the benefit of a fridge and kitchenette and you will have no complaints

Everything was excellent- location, parking, ease of check in, the air con, being pet friendly, the quietness... we had a short but great stay! I highly recommend staying here!

Whilst we didn't meet the host he was extremely helpful and answered questions almost immediately. We chose to eat at one of the restaurants recommended and it was superb.

All was good. If anything, the ashtray outside of the room needed emptying and ckeaning
