The most amazing thing about the property was the breakfast. Particularly, the tea. There was loose leaf earl grey tea and little bags to make your own tea bags - simply brilliant. There was also fresh squeezed orange juice. The food was lovely too!

I wouldn’t say I disliked anything . The room was basic but I expected that and it was on the 2nd floor but there was no lift. However the lady on the staff asked if that was ok and we agreed that was ok. It was a bit of a hike so maybe when we stop there again I’ll request a ground floor or first floor room.

We chose IBIS Styles based on previous reviews and were not disappointed. We booked in for one night on our outward journey and the same again on our return journey. On both occasions we found the staff to be very welcoming, helpful and took pride in what they did. The rooms were very clean, had comfortable beds and a great shower. There was a coffee/tea station in reception (which was not expected) and the breakfast selection was excellent. We could not hear the traffic which was surprising as the hotel is close to a very busy junction. The hotel’s car park was a very good size too & secure.

To be honest there wasn’t much as the facilities for the price are very good value especially for a couple. However, the hotel is quiet dated in its decor could do with is bit of a make over. . the reception and restaurant area could do with a makeover as both areas are The outer entrance lobby is a bit dark, dated & with heavy doors.

The hotel was easy to find just off the ring road and dispite being close to the road there was little road noise during the night. The member of staff was welcoming and checkin easy as was check out. The room was fairly spacious, the bed comfortable and the shower room had everything necessary for an overnight stay. As normal in a budget hotel in France breakfast was buffet style but we were both impressed by the exceptional selection offered and the presentation was also exceptional in its layout. The staff we met the morning of our departure were friendly, cheerful and looked as if they enjoyed there work and one took the time to come and ask us if we had everything we needed and if we were satisfied with our stay. We don't normally travel this route at this time of day but our experience might change our minds about route and stopover. Thanks to all the staff. An exceptional stay and service

No dislikes although some of the decor in the room needs attention this didn't detract from the stay

The room was lovely and modern. It was a big family room with comfortable beds. The breakfast was really nice with a great selection for our whole family.

We didn't like the fact that after ordering a couple of beers (and them being opened by the staff) they then told us the card machine was broken even though we'd paid for our room by card 10 minutes earlier. We were asked to drive to a cash point to get money, they did say we could pay the next morning. After struggling to find a cash point that night we asked a different member of staff if the card machine was working and they said it was so we paid by card in the end. Mt only gripe is that had they told us about the card machine prior to opening the beers we would have left them.

The room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning and really effective double glazing which makes the room very quiet even though the hotel is next to a very busy road. Breakfast was included in the price and there was a great choice .

The area is a bit run down, with 2 closed down restaurants opposite the hotel. There are still 4 other eating places (KFC, McDonald's, Asian +1) very close by Also the Aldi supermarket which used to be 500m away has been demolished. 😩

We have been coming to this hotel for around 20 years ... en route to our French holiday home in the Lot. The staff and amenities have always been excellent. Breakfast in the morning is excellent and plentiful.

We are disappointed that for several years now the restaurant no longer serves an evening meal-- that said there is a good restaurant nearby . . Just not quite as convenient as under the same roof!

Rooms were spotless, bed very comfortable, air con worked perfectly. Excellent location for a 1/2 way stop between the tunnel & central France. The receptionist was a delight and her perfect English was a great help to a weary traveller with limited French. Choice of places to eat within walking distance. Great value

Bed was comfortable and location was perfect travelling back from south of France. Plenty of eating options in the location, locked parking on site. Family room on 3rd floor and no lift so if mobility issues you would struggle. Room was comfortable and clean, carpet to room was shabby and needs upgrading. Breakfast was perfect and had good options available.

Its basic obviously cost reflects this otherwise no issues.

Large comfortable room with bath and 2 single sofa beds made up. Electric windows and blackout blinds. Great location on our route with MacDonalds and KFC with kids indoor play areas right opposite

No bin bag in bin, bath plug cover no attached. No lift only stair but not a problem for us

Convenient location for breaking our journey as we travelled through France. We booked a family room for 4 and there are at least 2 layouts, 1 with bunk beds. Breakfast was good.

No lift. We stayed twice in different family rooms. We all agreed the beds were uncomfortable on the first visit staying on 3rd floor. Bathroom and shower was very small.
