This is a one-man-show, and when we arrived in the afternoon, we found the main door closed. We found the owner very quickly working in the (beautiful) garden behind the house. The owner was very friendly and courteous. Apparently, he speaks little English. From this accommodation, we were able to walk to Cluny. We stayed here for just one night on our way to our destination and enjoyed the night very much.

The host was not fluent in English but was very gracious and enthusiastic at trying. We were able to communicate successfully. At first, we weren't sure we wanted breakfast because sometimes those are expensive and not very good. However the breakfast at this place was an excellent value with many choices. The location is lovely and the room was unusually large and well equipped. It is an easy walk into town where there are many restaurants and other facilities

It would be helpful if someone on the staff spoke more English. It's not that we don't try in foreign countries, but it is sometimes difficult if there's a real communication barrier.

Location was perfect, walking distance to the lovely village of Cluny. Gardens were lovely and the there was plenty of room for parking. Room was simple but very clean with a comfortable bed. Staff were very welcoming. Breakfast was good value. Comfortable beds.

There was only a lace curtain at the window. Seemed odd to not have a proper curtain.

The location was convenient with parking on the premises and a short walk into the center. The breakfast buffet, for 11€, had everything one would want.

There is no air conditioning, and it was quite warm when we returned after dinner. A fan would have been useful.

Liked this place and would return if in the area again, friendly staff, good breakfast, and no complaints from the 6 other friends I travelled with. Short walk from the town centre where plenty of restaurants were available and a choice of 2 fuel stations nearby to replenish our motos ready for the next day

Very helpful staff checked us in when we arrived early which was great after a long journey. Really comfortable large bed and pillows. Lots of hot water. Dogs welcome. Great location too.

All good for us, nothing to dislike

The best location to stay and visit Cluny. Very well located, very clean and best of all very nice hostes, very friendly. We felt very welcome and we hope to come back some time.

Everything was perfect.

Good location close to Cluny centre and the Abbaye but with a countryside atmosphere. Quiet rooms, good breakfast. Friendly owners. A very address for discovering South Burgundy.

Good sized room, simply furnished, friendly staff/owners, excellent parking, great quiet location but short walk to town. No AirCon but use of shutters kept room reasonable temperature when very hot outside. Good experience.

Breakfast could have had more choice/variety but was fine.

The owner went out of his way to help us. Our car broke down nearby and we were forced to take a last minute hotel. We stayed a second night. He helped us get a taxi, made recommendations. Wonderful.
