The room was large, with a big comfortable bed. There was pretty decent bathroom, too. The attached restaurant served great food with really excellent (if not cheap) wine. The staff were all very friendly and there was some grass for our dog to play on. We had been told in a message after booking that the restaurant would be closed but in fact, it was open, which was a very welcome surprise. The work hadn't quite been finished and it was not yet fully staffed so menu selection and payment was via temporary reception in the hotel. This made no difference to the excellent food and wine, though and we enjoyed the meal after our long journey.

The ground floor rooms, like ours, felt insecure. There was no way to have the window open a little whilst being safe from any intruders. This was important because there was no aircon. Also no safe. It was reasonably warm the night we stayed but it does get so very much hotter than that. The bathroom was very quiet and this was great. On the other side of that coin, there was no fan so it misted up and there was no demister pad on the mirror.

Good sized very clean bedroom & bathroom with spare single bed as well as a decent sized double, a friendly welcome with assistance to carry cases upstairs & offer of breakfast or evening meal in our room. Can't comment on these as we stayed on a room only basis. Coffee making facilities in the room and tissues in the bathroom were a welcome touch. Very comfortable overnight stay.

The location, just off a busy road on the outskirts of Limoge makes the hotel somewhat isolated & there's nowhere to walk. With the restaurant temporarily out of order (being refurbished) this means eating in the room or, as we did, driving into the city. The hotel itself appears to also be having work done, though this didn't affect us.

It was very clean, the room and bed were a good size the bathroom was a good size and the shower was great. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was excellent. A really good choice and great value for money We had two dogs and they were welcome in the restaurant and there was plenty of room around the hotel to walk them.

The only issue we had was that the room key was very difficult to use.

We had travelled from Orleans and needed somewhere South of Limoges for the night. The Originals City suited our needs as it was easy to get to, had car parking and a restaurant. The restaurant was being renovated but we were still able to have an evening meal and breakfast in the morning. Due to the hotels location it was easy to continue our journey South.

This is a no nonsense family style hotel that has been cared for, maintained well and is loved by the people that run it. The food we had was both exceptional value and quality. Breakfast is typically continental very well done. Ample parking, all felt very secure. No air conditioning but that wasn't an issue for us. Showers clean and worked well. We used the hotel as a halfway house on the way to Barcelona, can't comment on local things to do or logistics.. Would I stay again... absolutely will. BTW the corridors were air conditioned which keeps the upper floor cooler that it might be.

I didn't dislike anything - in my opinion, you get more value than what you pay for.

We were in the middle of a journey further south in France, so we chose this hotel for its location on the outskirts of Limoges, with easy access to the motorway. It doesn't disappoint, is clean and comfortable with ample parking, and is very reasonably priced.

The hotel will be even better when the restaurant reopens after renovation.

This was an overnight stay prior to travelling to the UK, and was very conveniently placed near the A20. The room was comfortable, clean, and unlike most French hotels I've stayed at, had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which was very welcome.

This hotel was well placed for a stop over. I'd give a different review if id stayed longer. But, subject to availability, we'll be booking next year.

Nothing really to dislike. Maybe adding a car EV charging station?

Hotel convenient for the Auto-route, excellent car park, very efficient reception. Spotlessly clean modern room, small but superb bathroom. smart restaurant closed on Sunday evening. Excellent breakfast including cooked items. Must visit again, very good value.

The size of the room is marvellous compared with other hotels. The furnishings are excellent as is the shower . The bed is very comfortable The hotel can be reached easily from the A20. Although the restaurant is currently closed it is possible to have dinner delivered to the breakfast area or the room. The staff are very accommodating.
