owned and run by an outstanding couple. wonderful old hotel and they couldn't have been nicer. breakfast (extra cost) was outstanding, homemade breads, tarts, jams. a super buffet. not a high end boutique hotel, but lovely, and full of character.

good location if you were coming in by train, but a bit of a walk to all the (excellent) restaurants around the quay. bikes were locked to a tree in the back yard....not ideal, but better than locked on the street.

There was everything we needed for a brief (overnight) stay. Was also an easy, relatively short, walk to old centre, beach, and Christian Dior museum. Restaurants and supermarket and train station close by. Parking available (on the street, but in front of hotel). Reception staff member was welcoming and helpful. It was clean and beds comfortable. Tea and Coffee and a kettle in the room. Breakfast is available at the hotel (but we didn’t partake).

Charming, spotlessly clean hotel, extremely close to the train station. A 5-minute walk to the centre, but so convenient for the train station - just across the road. Lovely staff and fabulous breakfast. I have to eat gluten free and they were able to provide gluten free bread without any difficulty. We visited Granville by chance, but found it enchanting, so we plan to return. When we do, we will be happy to stay in Au Bout Du Quai again.

The hotel is an old manor house with thick walls, hence very quiet. The double windows kept out any noise. There were ample choices for breakfast in an attractive room. Both the owners are very friendly, helpful and efficient. The hotel is "en face" of the station, i.e. a 2 minute walk!!!

The queen sized bed was too big for the room it was in, because it left too little space to deal with our luggage.

This is a lovely old hotel close to the station in Granville. We opted for one of the larger double rooms and were delighted to find a stylish room with double aspect windows overlooking greenery, complete with a kettle and fridge! It's a bit of a walk down to the main town, but only 20 mins or so. Brilliant!

Consistently good. Nice rooms, welcoming hosts. The location is great for reaching the little shops in the main shopping area, walking to the centre or quayside for restaurants, getting up to the old town and for getting to the beaches via a short cut.

Really friendly Welcome and spotlessly clean hotel. Good sized rooms, although en suite shower smallish which might be a problem for some, though not us. Tea and coffee in room and the most stunning windows. Near the station, literally opposite and a short walk to the shops, bars etc. Breakfast was a very generous buffet.

Nothing to complain about, really. The car park is a public car park shared with the station so it can get busy. Just need to wait a while or time arrival to avoid train arrival/ departure.

I’m very happy with my choice of hotel. The location was convenient, especially since I arrived late at night. I appreciated being able to check in after hours. The hotel feels more like a cozy home than a typical hotel — calm and welcoming atmosphere.

Great variety of interesting dishes for breakfast, such as pomme compote and milk posset. Excellent range of breads and cheese. Easy 10-minute walk into town and the beach, and the childhood home of Christian Dior (now an excellent museum in beautiful gardens with about 50 couture outfits).

It was difficult to park initially, as there were no spaces at the railway station opposite. Once a space became available, it was free for as long as we wanted.

super close to the train station, convenient to old town and the waterfront and christian dior museum. room overlooked treetops. was exceptionally clean. owners were accommodating and kind. room was small but had everything one needs.
