Aux murmures was the perfect end to our driving tour of Normandy. We stayed for 3 nights, wanting somewhere which was close enough to walk to bars and restaurants, but also gave us a good base to really relax. The walk to Honfleur takes about 20 minutes and involves a hill but it was a pleasant walk. We had the Double Room with Terrace. The room was comfortable (especially the bed) and the little kitchen area was really useful. The terrace outside gave us wonderful privacy to eat and relax. Breakfast was left out for us every morning (in a basket) and we then sat in the sunshine and munched in peace and quiet. Helena was friendly and helpful but left us to our own devices which we really appreciated.

Beautiful! The most peaceful and relaxing stay you could ask for.Couldn’t really ask for more as it is totally perfect . Spotlessly clean , host met us on arrival she was lovely . The accommodation is quirky and stunning and the bed incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and host even got me gluten free bread which was really kind. The animals are a lovely touch . Book ! You won’t regret it !

Nothing - totally perfect

A super quiet location with lovely gardens and outside space. A lovely large room with a good size comfy bed . We parked right next to our chalet. Breakfast was delivered each morning in a basket. Honfleur is too far away for a walk but just a 7/8 min drive by car. Parking in town was easy . I'd definitely go back !

It was initially really hard to find and a detailed and better map should be provided to help the motorist. Our chalet was perfect but I'd recommend the owner leaves a sign by the hot tap as the was was scolding HOT '' CAUTION VERY HOT WATER '' would help !

The name of the property is perfect as we were surrounded by the sounds of nature! The room was lovely with a kitchenette well equipped for a self catering b&b. Robes and slippers provided which was a lovely touch! The deck and garden area were wonderful with the little sheep and Plume the alpaca visiting us. Whilst relaxing in the hot tub we saw so many beautiful birds and some fascinating insects fly by! The property is located in an area we enjoyed walking around, beautiful countryside and a short walk down to Honfleur. Uphill on the way back which was a good workout! Breakfast was lovely with fresh pastries, bread, juice, jam and coffee. Overall it was the most relaxing break we have had in a long time. We took our electric car and found a good super charging station at a local outlet shopping centre.

Beautiful property, really clean and tidy and everything you need for your stay. Lovely and private inside and out. Breakfast was lovely each morning, was delivered each morning, fresh juice, coffee, baguette and croissants etc, yoghurts and home made jams. Anything we needed was there. 20 minute walk into Honfluer. Thank you so much for looking after us.

Helena warmly welcomed us at the gate and showed us to our room. The room was beautiful, well equipped and with a bath for two! The breakfast was typically ‘French’ with croissants, bread, jam, yogurt, juice and tea or coffee. The nature theme was really lovely and the bed very comfortable. The balcony was fab to sit and enjoy the beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Also to watch the alpaca and goats mooching around. It really was a gorgeous place to stay. We walked into Honfleur and it wasn’t too much effort.

A warm welcome from Helene. Very kind and helpful lady. Room was lovely and nicely furnished and equipped. Nice and quiet. Exactly as described in booking.com. 7 minute drive to Honfleur which was perfect for us. Thank you

Not a complaint merely an observation as we were happy with everything but no ventilation in room apart from front door so we had to have the fan kindly provided on all night. Also we did arrive 10 minutes early but had no code to access gates on arrival. Not much privacy round front of room.

The breakfast was better than expected with selfmade apple juice, fresh and still warm croissants, toast, yoghurts and fruits and cafe au lait. :-) and presented in a nice basket. The location is a green paradise, so lovely! And it takes only 10 minutes with the car to the port of Honfleur. Excellent! We will come back!

Thank you Helena for a wonderful stay at your lovely chalet. We wished we could have stayed for longer and we certainly would love to stay again if we are travelling to Honfleur. The breakfast was superb and all the nice little details were perfect.

This is such a magical place. The bungalow is adorable. The gardens are quaint. Helene was very sweet. We would very happily stay here again.

If you are tall, it is difficult to use the shower without stooping. (I showered on my knees.)
