La Fraichette is a charming hotel with a wonderfully relaxing pool and spa area. It is situated 10mins drive outside of Honfleur so a car is required to visit the town. The room and bed was comfortable with the thoughtful addition of bottled water and a kettle to make tea and coffee (no milk though so bring your own). Our hosts were warm and welcoming, always cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was adequate with a continental buffet selection and the option of cooked eggs if you wanted. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future.

The lounge and spa facilities close from 8pm. The spa I understand, however it would have been nice to have access to the lounge in the evening to relax and maybe enjoy a drink, and to provide an extra space outside of the hotel bedrooms. The room was nice, but there was no heated towel rail in the bathroom so the towels, bathrobes and any swimwear could not dry easily. It also meant that the steam hung around for ages as there was no ventilation or extraction. That said, there was an electric radiator in the main part of the room which you could turn on but it made the room very stuffy. We had no hot water on the last night of our stay which was disappointing, so had to settle with a tepid shower.

Everything was great. Free ample secure parking, lovely new indoor swimming pool with sauna included in the price of the stay . Nice room with outdoor terrace with chairs ,complimentary water . Friendly and welcoming owners that speak excellent English . Good breakfast with choice of freshly cooked eggs. Highly recommend if visiting Honfleur and surrounding area. Would love to go back

Very minor but felt the bathroom could do with a refresh . Car essential for eating out as no restaurant onsite but Honfleur is very close

It’s a gorgeous family run hotel situated slightly out of town in a quiet spot surrounded by trees and bushes which gives it a very exclusive private feel. It has an indoor poor and Sauna, plenty of free parking and offers a lovey breakfast with eggs cooked as you like them to order. The room was comfortable with a small terrace area which looked into a lovely garden area. Tea and coffee was available in the room, and the room made up each day with fresh towels. Husband and Wife team make it an excellent stay and speak good English. They made our stay absolutely delightful and we will certainly be back.

Nothing everything was exceptional

We felt there was not sitting area to enjoy as it was mostly locked up so it was more like a guest house than a hotel.

Quiet location … clean … nice staff … tranquil garden rooms

Spa slippers broken, didn’t take any slippers because knew it was a spa Hotel so they would be in room to use … but they were broken . Not a big deal and probably if I had complained then they would have replaced but we were only there 2 nights so didn’t seem worth it but tiled floors so if like me you get cold feet then take slippers!!!!

The owners are exceptionally kind. They took the trouble every day to help with any questions and offer us hiking trails in the area, explanations about the area, and shared with us about life in the area.

This is an absolute magical hidden gem. We had 2 very calm relaxing days traveling around this area and loved coming back to relax in the spa. The hotel is located outside q beautiful town, making it very calm, perfect to get away and rest. Room and bathroom were very spacious and modern. One of the highlights was the breakfast with fresh products. Since we arrived we felt welcomed as in a family.

All good we had a comfort room with garden terrace. Excellent pool and spa facilities. We did not have breakfast

No air conditioning could worthwhile the owners consider installing this.

A bit pricey - especially if you consider that breakfast was an extra cost. (But we knew all this when we booked it!)

Very welcoming staff, helping us with luggage and showing us around. Room was clean and comfortable, everything needed was provided. The breakfast was good and extra options as scrambled eggs are provided.

The room was a little noisy as we could hear people walking back and forth in the corridor and the stairs.
