A gorgeous property with friendly and helpful hosts. Our room was small but perfectly formed with everything you could need for a comfortable and restful stay. We also had a great view over the countryside to the Pont de Normandie. Our hosts gave a great recommendation for somewhere to eat in Honfleur and we had a wonderful evening meal there. Our breakfast was amazing - easily the best we have had in our time in France with so many extras on top of the usual continental one. Honfleur itself is definitely worth a visit and is only a 5 minute drive away. It’s a shame we could only stay for the one night. Would highly recommend.

A return visit for us and based on good experience in the past. This B and B has everything we need and want. It is very well positioned, just around a half an hour from the Le Havre ferry - great to clear the busy port area, and to get somewhere more peaceful for the night. Private secure parking, lovely, stylish clean and very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast (with many locally sourced and homemade elements) are some of our highlights. Bruno and Chantelle - our hosts - are very sociable and welcoming but without being intrusive or directive. For example, in response to guest feedback they now offer a selection of drinks and locally produced ready meals for late arriving guests who cannot access local restaurants. Since our last visit a whole range of little fixes have been undertaken with great ingenuity by the ever inventive Bruno. He is a master problem solver and creates really delightful solutions (in my view). For example, in our attic room the improved use of space is brilliant. On the back of the entrance door now sits a shelf-like ledge upon which rests a screen designed to preserve the modesty of non-partnered room sharers. Job done- folds away to preserve floor space. I should probably add the rooms are generous in size but you would be astounded just what you can fit into a well planned space.

Our hosts were fabulous and very attentive to the needs of their diverse clientele at this cosy spot within minutes of central Honfleur. They made us feel completely at home in so many small ways beyond just excellent room comfort and breakfast. Onsite and secure parking is a huge plus for anyone visiting Normandy by car. The location is perfect for exploring all of Normandy, whether the beautiful coastal areas to the north and south of the Seine River which can be seen from here, or the marvelous villages and countryside inland of Pays d'Auge, Bayeux, Caen, or Mont Saint Michel, all easily doable as day trips from here. Our hosts offered helpful travel tips. Excellent grocery shopping is within minutes walking distance in the lovely village of La Rivière Sant Saveur. The rooms are well maintained and bedding very comfortable. There are beautiful views of the famous Pont de Normandie from this house. And the fully enclosed patio gave us many delightful evenings of enjoying a light picnic style dinner over local wine and cheese while we relaxed and absorbed the joys of our daily outings over eleven days. There was never a day of our extended stay when we did not feel the warmth of our hosts or the sheer pleasure of home style living while visiting this historically, gastronomically, and artistically magnificent region of France. We would not hesitate to come back and stay here again and again.

I wish there were more places where I could say there was really nothing we did not like. This was an exceptional experience in our four decades of global travel and stays in all kinds of locations and accommodations. Un grand merci à nos aimables hôtes.

A comfortable and relaxed stay in a professionally run but homely B and B. We especially appreciated the incredible attention to details, like the optional ear plugs and eye masks - not that we needed them. There were many such examples which went beyond anything we have ever come across before in a B and B. Chantal and Bruno - the owners - were really personable and it was evident that they really wanted their house guests to have a great stay. Our room was quirky and brilliantly designed making ensuite facilities possible in an attic space. Nothing was too fussy or too imposing, just all that you needed or wanted and not much you didn't. The breakfast was superb featuring many home made products such as jams and fresh fruit salad from locally grown fruit, apple crepes freshly made (delicious) scrambled eggs and local cheeses, yoghurts and ham. Everything was generous and of excellent quality, the croissants being up there with the best we have ever eaten and we are pretty demanding as far as food is concerned!! Oh... and the coffee was nice too. We appreciated the code controlled private parking leaving us free to come and go as we pleased, safe in the knowledge that our jam packed car was safe and secure. Although the property was alongside a main road through the small town, it was quiet and peaceful after rush hour. There were open views over the countryside from our room which was an added bonus. All in all a wonderful place to stay. Thanks.

The only thing that was a bit tricky was the relatively narrow spiral staircase up to our room at the top of the house. Not difficult except for the awkwardness of luggage. Might be challenging for older guests with mobility problems. This would not prevent a repeat stay, but we would pack differently knowing the layout.

The hosts were kind, especially Bruno, who welcomed us with a big smile, gave us information about the place, recommendations for restaurants and excursions. he made an effort to make us feel comfortable. the room is clean, balcony with a beautiful view toilet and shower in the room, we managed with that.

The owners are very friendly and that made for an amazing stay. The room was comfortable, good shower and great bed. But all the tips we got about places to go to, where to park - that made this a great stay. Plus the breakfast, with fresh local produce. Parking at the property, but also free parking in front of it. We would go back anytime!

The hosts were fabulous! Extremely accommodating as they arranged for transportation to the town, so we didn't have to drive. Breakfast was amazing, it was inventive and locally sourced. Bruno and his wife and the lovely Catherine could not do enough for us! We will come again. We had the upper floor and it was amazing with fresh air and great views. Thank you.. merci!
