Jean-Paul couldn't have been more helpful. He insisted on cleaning all the pond weed off my bike for me. As we were on bikes, he also ran us into Beaugency to a restaurant and picked us up afterwards. (He also told us that, with notice, they can provide the makings of a salad meal for cyclists as an alternative) The location is beautiful and quiet, the rooms attractive and comfortable. Breakfast was also a step up from the usual French affair with local cheese and eggs on offer

If approaching by bike from the Loire and St Laurent-Nouan beware of map apps which suggest what looks like a direct minor road through the forest! Rue de L'Ormoie or Huppemeau. It starts off fine but, just before Marpalu, the path disappeared into a pond which covers the path. Perhaps it's not like that in high summer! For us it was shoes off, a knee-deep wade and a bike gears clogged with weed. We were able to laugh about it but we didn't really need the adventure at the end of a long day.

lovely building in a quiet green area. friendly and welcoming owners. nice rooms, comfortable beds, good wifi. daughter liked trampoline, goats in the garden and most of all owner's dog. very good breakfast.

consider adding some salad/ham/cheese/etc variety for breakfast

Everything was beautiful and had a nice warming and personal touch. You can feel the pession the two owners put into their home.

The stay ways just too short. If i had more time, i would have spend more there.

The farm exceeded our expectations. The owners are very kind, and gave us great advice for small bistrots and visits. Breakfast was delicious and meticulously prepared. The room was very cute, and had everything needed even a kettle and some tea for a great cup before going to sleep.

Everything was perfect.

Good host, clean room, comfy bed, tasty breakfast and good location to visit Chateau Chambord. It would be even better if luggage racks are provided so that we do not need to open the suitcases on the floor.

The accommodation was amazing 🌟 Located in the countryside, really quite and lovely place to stay. Breakfast is included in the price and it's served in beautiful living/dining room. The lady is so nice and she is open to recommend you places to go to visit or where to eat. If you are in doubt book it and you will not regret 😉

Beautiful calm and quiet. The family room was big. Excellent communication and we felt extremely welcomed. Our little girl loved the dog and goats. Great breakfast. Would definitely recommend

Poor internet connection, breakfasts were good but they could have been a little more diverse - adding ham, sausage, scrambled eggs, yoghurt and cereals on the menu would help a lot

We had a fantastic stay at the Ferme de Marpalu. It's a beautiful and peaceful place in beatiful surroundings. It has been long since I had such a quite night, away from all sounds of the city. The hosts are very kind and helpful and my 6 year old son had the time of his life with the goats, cats and chickens of the farm but also with the toys such as the trampolin.

It was right in the heart of the French countryside, very homely, lovely breakfast and great hosts who were very friendly and extremely helpful.

It was a little tricky to find.
