beautiful located castle along the Loire river. I was mid january so off season hence nobody except two other guest. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed this time of the year. The place is wonderful, and the breakfast was very good. Nice and friendly staff in the morning. Make sure you read your confirmation mail as it contains entrance code for the door and a reservation code you need to get your key from a machine if reception is unstaffed. Room 102 is spatious, original with wonderful beams, fireplace and windows, yet brand new bathroom facilities.

Great location with nice views of the river. Quiet area along the river but still near the village center. Large room and bathroom with some old beams for charm. Everyrhing was clean and good value for October. Restaurant was very good and nice ambience. 3 course menu was very good for around €35-39pp

Check in was until 21.00 if I remember correctly. Hotel had sent an email after booking but had not read the email while driving. Reception was already unattended at arrival at 19.30 so a bit of confusion until I read the email that said there is a check-in machine to the right of the entrance door. Checked in with the machine and it gives you the room number and then the key also. You will need a card to pay the tourist tax with this same machine also. Except for the restaurant we never saw anyone from the hotel reception.

The site was wonderful waking up alongside the Loire. Having Mosquito nets for the windows was fantastic. Breakfast was wonderful, including a little drink being provided?

It wasn't about not liking it was more about my lack of reading the small print. Restaurant not open the night we arrived on the Thursday. Also, be mindful 2 flights of stairs may be problematic

The room had a wonderful view over the river, and was spacious, unfortunately the window is small . The shower room was large with a walk-in shower, and good size washbasin. Again unfortunately we were there during a top 30's heatwave so the room was very hot, but the hotel supplied a fan, which was much appreciated. The hotel included in there popular facilities a restaurant, which didn't actually belong to the hotel, even though it is on the premises. It was my birthday and I was looking forward to a nice meal. The menu was minimal which is okay if there has been thought and effort put into the courses, but it was pretty plain. Plus it was not cheap, I get a lot better at home. We had not booked breakfast, expecting a good feed the night before. I would stay again, as the hotel is in a very pleasant area,

Beautiful old historic building, spacious bedroom, Lovely view of the Loire. Very welcoming staff. Comfortable bed, nice linen. Magnificent location.

No drink making facilities in the bedroom, and no bottled water available in the bedroom. The restaurant is a separate business, apparently, and the menus are a little on the expensive side for an overnight stop, rather than a meal out (three courses 39€) Whatever happened to the Logis "menu de terroir"? Having said that, we found the Relais had improved from our last stay before the pandemic, but if we stay again, we will probably try to find a bistro in town for our evening meal. Shame really.

Very unusual hotel but interesting building. Very French oldy worldy. A bit spooky as there was no one there. The meal was excellent but very expensive.

It looked closed up, no lights or anything on. No one there when we arrived. We had to work our way through the entrance gate, then a machine for the key, and then find our own room.

The location, the building, the breakfast, the staff. I liked the fact that there was a shower and not a bath, or a bath with a shower over.

That the room was on the second floor. At the age of 87 and 79 it was not easy to climb the stairs or going down. It has taught me to be more careful when choosing a hotel or ask the right questions.

Great location, Good restaurant for the evening meal with excellent food, Rooms spacious, reasonably appointed and beds very comfortable.

Breakfast was very poor and certainly not good value. Arriving just before 9am, we had to ask for milk and even croissants. These were brought out in very sparing supply so any other guest would have to ask again. Disappointing to say the least and certainly not worth the money.

We loved our warm welcome from the host after a long journey - it made so much difference. The rooms were magnificent with hugely high ceilings and nice bathrooms and wonderful views. We got rooms next to each other which was great with two children (recommend Rm 401-402!). The restaurant next door was very good (not cheap) & had it have been sunny it would have been amazing to sit in the beautiful green courtyard garden.

Beautiful building on the banks of the Loire. Gorgeous courtyard and patio. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Short walk into the pretty little town.
