Karen made us feel totally at home in this beautiful property. We had a family suite, with easily the most comfortable beds we'd ever slept in, together with a kitchenette and two bathrooms. We also had exclusive use of a dining room downstairs and a gorgeous conservatory, with access to a beautifully landscaped manor garden with swimming pool. Breakfast included fresh croissants, brioche bread, strawberries, blueberries, a fruit basket, cereals, yoghurt, jam and honey -- with unlimited coffee and hot chocolate. We had security code access to park our car and enter the room. Karen runs a fabulous guesthouse. It's a delightful place to stay. Can't find any fault.

We highly recommend indulging in a leisurely breakfast on the veranda, savouring delicious croissants and traditional French breakfast, while enjoying the breathtaking views of the expansive French-style garden with a private pool. The personalized attention to guests by Karen made our stay even more special.

Everything was actually great.

La Grande Maison was absolutely DIVINE! If you are considering it, just book it. Stunning renovation, beautiful huge room for my family of four and the pool area was absolutely perfect. Everytihng is new and in good condition. The towels and sheets are just lovely and many little special details all around.

Beautiful. The whole property is beautiful and I especially love that they think of every single detail. The property is very quiet and peaceful. Safe parking and secure space. The bathroom fixtures are quality and unique. Karen was more than an excellent host. She messaged us (via booking.com initially and then whattsapp) photos of the gate, the codes to get into the property, explained (in detail) all of the amenities in our room. She also let us know that there's a breakfast available (if we wanted to order, we had to message the day before). I would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to others.

The host was really lovely and helpful sending all the info needed via WhatsApp which was great. She was also very kind in helping us with late checkout. The property is lovely since it’s redevelopment. It’s a shame we didn’t have good weather to use the pool as it looked beautiful. Parking in the gated grounds was nice and safe. We felt safe in the property. The bathroom was the showcase for us, we loved the large bath. Towels provided for pool and bathroom. Good fridge / kettle in the room with some crockery also if needed. They even gave us some complimentary face masks to use which was a nice touch. Very close 10-15 mins to Disney via car which is why we were there. Also close by car to a very large shopping centre and outlet village. Would definitely recommend

Unfortunately we didn’t think about taking drinks & snacks which was a shame as it meant a 15 minute drive out late at night as there wasn’t anything available to buy at the hotel. Not sure if there is in the daytime but there wasn’t in the evening. I think a vending machine would be a great idea on site as there’s not a local shop that we could see. The WiFi was good but stopped working on our last day. The bed covers weren’t very comfy. Our room was up several flights of stairs which were difficult with heavy cases. None of these things ruined our stay, we enjoyed it and would recommend.

Tbh everything was excellent

It’s a beautiful villa, love everything about it, it’s really beyond my expectation. The host Karen also very kind and helpful. The decor is simple but very elegant and modern..and the bathroom in my room is just WOW!! The breakfast is delicious..specially the pain au chocolate. I love that it’s very seclude and quiet. This property is Very perfect place for family too..because the host provide all toys inside the room and in the common area. The pool also very beautiful. And well maintained.

Nothing it’s perfect

Wow, what a fantastic place. Absolutely everything was spot on and the attention to detail in all ways was sublime. The rooms were 5* and the house and grounds were immaculate - the Xmas decorations throughout really made it special. It was the perfect stay the night before Disney which is a 10 minute drive. Karen was a great host and although we never met her in person catered for everything. Thank you :)

Having to leave! Next time I would base my Disney visit staying here and travelling to and from DLP daily!

We loved everything from initial communication, location, the beautiful building and gardens, the rooms and the facilities. Karen made us feel so welcome and even went out of her way to heat the pool for us crazy brits wanting to swim off season...it was a cool swim but well worth it and thank you for heating it did take the edge off.
