It's an old style hotel in the middle of the town. I loved that the owners kept old furnishings and wall decorations that give the place a character. Everything is clean, even if most places, notably bathrooms, need refurbishment. My bed was very comfortable, the mattress was pleasantly firm and the temperature in the room was just right. Breakfast (continental) was fresh and in the right amount. The internet was fast and stable. The receptionists are very helpful, kind, and courteous.

If one prefers sterile modern spaces of chain hotels, it's certainly not a right place. This one is old, and retro-fitted bathroom equipment shows it the most. There was some noise from the street, but allegedly the owners will soundproof the windows soon. It was hard to find a street parking spot on Friday night, but there's a subterranean car park 200 m further up.

Jérôme Gautier was very helpful, he emailed me with all the info that I needed. Very central location, within walking distance to all sights and attractions.

The hotel could do with a bit of a refurbishment.

Staff was wonderful; rooms recently remodeled.

Excessive road noise throughout the night; loud scooters and cars gunning their engine they wait at the stoplight just outside the hotel. The bathroom did not have a door; only a curtain.
