The ladies on reception where amazing during our stay and could not be more helpful. They recommended different restaurants to our liking and arranged a taxi to collect us to take us to the airport on departure. We particularly enjoyed the spa area and thought it was worth the 15E per person as it has a steam room, pool and sauna and is peaceful and relaxing - you will book your slot with reception...... just what was needed after some busy travelling through France. We arrived in Limoges by train and the location of the hotel was most convenient to walk to from the station , even with suitcases.... it is literally 2- 3 min walk away and mostly down hill. A short ten - 15 min walk to significant points of interest so a good base for spending two days in Limoges. The rooms are particularly spacious , clean and modern and I would certainly return to this hotel. The air con is centrally controlled by reception however if you contact to adjust it to your temperature they do this responsively. There is also a handy app with guest information which you can access after check in.

Very friendly staff who gave us lots of information about the town, along with a map. The hotel is a short walk from the train station and the town centre. Comfy beds, quiet, small fridge in the room, clean, nice bathroom and reasonably spacious.

The smell of chlorine from the spa was over-powering and a bit much. We were in room 1 which is on the ground floor and the same corridor as the spa and pool, and not in the main building. I got used to it in the end, but was contemplating asking for another room.

I was pleasantly surprised by this excellent hotel which, unlike most in this country, truly deserves its three stars. Perfectly located in the centre of Limoges, with the railway station and numerous bus lines nearby. Comfortable, clean, quiet and nicely furnished room with a balcony overlooking the boulevard below and an en suite bathroom. Excellent buffet-style breakfast with freshly-made hot and cold selection. Hotel also has spa facilities, which I did not have time to try. Friendly and very helpful staff. Plenty of restaurants nearby (I can recommend the Bistrot Jourdan).

We stayed twice this year so far and there is little I can fault. The rooms are modernly designed and have a Nespresso machine and Chromecast. The hotel and rooms are extremely clean, the hotel facilities are excellent, the bed was really comfy and the staff are amazing and so friendly.

The only thing I would suggest is having the pool free to use for guests, or even at a reduced rate as it's pricey as it currently stands.

Room size was good.Beds are comfortable. Staff was helpful. An overall lovely stay.

A suggestion not a dislike... The wardrobe could be a bit larger and could do with some shelving as not much space to share for two people. The hairdryer's way of functioning is a bit uncomfortable to hold. B'fast has a large selection and for us it was more than enough. A suggestion though, when busy the food stations are crammed with people.It could do with amplier space.

It was comfortable with just the odd niggle - no instructions on TV use and coffee machine had to be explained. But that was solved by the second night and a pleasant and patient young woman explained how to work the coffee machine.

Only one chair in the bedroom in a room for 2 people. I know I should have requested another but kept forgetting.

This was my second stay and surpassed the first. High standard of cleanliness, the room and shower room were spotless, comfortable lounge/bar area, and the room air-conditioning was wonderful during the heat-wave. The WIFI also worked well with my Apple Ipad and Iphone. (I did not use the pool/spa this visit.)

The desktop in my room was very small (with a coffee machine on it) so I went to the lounge/bar to work.

Personalise service: remember the name, take care of the requests. Just the right amount of touch for it becomes seamless. Smart and experienced staff. In particular Émeline at reception, and the lady at breakfast. Btw, great buffet breakfast made with locally sourced fresh products. Newly renovated. Long John pub downstairs as well as nearby railways can be noisy, but windows are particularly efficient in cancelling all noise.

Great location, close to everything. Parking outside was brilliant as that is always important when travelling. Room was on the large side and had a great nights sleep.

Nothing. Would have liked a bit more info on Limoges upon arrival . Take note that every restaurant closed before 2pm and doesn’t open till 7ish so if you want food be aware.

The rooms are very well laid out with everything you need. Very comfortable!

We had the breakfast once, and we just thought that it was not very well planned out. Boiling our own eggs, cutting the bread etc and everything seemed too crowded for people to do what they needed. For the cost we shouldn't need to do all the work ourselves
