The location is excellent. It is in the centre of Niort and situated on a square which has a lovely selection of restaurants, cafés and bars. It is also very close to a huge underground carpark which only charged €7 for the overnight stay. The receptionist on duty on the evening of 21/08/25 was friendly and helpful, and assured me that I would enjoy the surrounding locality.

At first I was disappointed that the hotel didn't offer restaurant facilities. I was travelling alone and was hoping to dine in the safety of the hotel. However the proximity of the local restaurants ensured a wide choice and I felt safe exploring.

Stayed two nights in a single room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well appointed and clean, the shower was also good. The location was great, not far from bars and restaurants and I felt safe walking on my own around the town area at night. Staff were really helpful and friendly.

The room was a bit small but fine for my needs. Despite trying to lower the temperature of the air conditioning, my room was quite warm so I just ended up opening the window.

A great hotel in the centre of Niort close to all amenities including restaurants. The hotel is a good choice for long-distance cyclists following the Velo Francette cycle route with secure overnight bicycle storage. The buffet breakfast was superb with a wide choice of good quality food including a hot offer. Reception and hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a comfortable stay and would have no hesitation in recommending this good value hotel.

Good easy to find central situation with huge underground car park very close by. Friendly and helpful staff which is essential for the elderly. Good shower with handrail. Comfy beds.

Our room was accessible from the lift to the first floor but then had steps so not udeal for someone with limited mobility but helpful staff made it accessible.

Excellent location and within easy walking distance from the train station. Very friendly staff. Hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Lot's of shops and restaurants close by.

Our room was not cleaned on the Sunday (but perhaps that was because it was Sunday) but it was not a major issue as Reception gave us clean towels.

Of course, up to Best Western standard with comfortable room and bed. Friendly helpful staff and very good breakfast. Allowed us to keep our bicycles inside the hotel. Would highly recommend

The staff were warm and helpful, the rooms spacious and perfectly clean and well-decorated. Facing the beautiful Place de la Brèche was another plus for this hotel.

Very accommodating hotel in an interesting old town. Comfortable, clean and it has underground parking nearby- but they allowed us to park our motorbikes in their stock room!

Location was excellent for our visit. Breakfast was good with very helpful and pleasant waiters.

I find it hard to answer this question as unfortunately through no fault of hotel a murder and stabbing took place outside hotel during our stay which was very scary for all concerned. If this hadn’t happened I would have said there was nothing I didn’t like about this hotel for the purpose of our visit.
