The location was fantastic. Very close to metro stations giving a choice of 2 lines. Lively area, frequented by French and not just foreign tourists. Montmartre is like stepping back in time. Plenty of options for food and drink, happy hours everywhere. Area felt very safe. Staff very friendly and helpful. I left a blouse at the hotel by mistake and they kept it to one side until I could come back to pick it up. Very kind of them. Vending machine and lots of promotional leaflets in lobby. Also, some old guide books to look through. Bathroom was bigger than I expected and a big plus - the shower did not leak all over the floor! Room was small but that is to be expected in Paris (and stated when you book) There is a busy café on the corner underneath which causes some noise at night but double glazing efficiently muffled noise and did not bother me. When arriving, note that it is mainly downhill from Abbesses metro but uphill from Pigalle and Blanche (although Abbesses has loads of steps and no escalator/elevator)

Great location and fantastic price. Room was clean and fully functional, comfortable. We were able to make it dark with the blackout curtains. AC worked well on hot nights.

We requested 2 rooms together but initially were given rooms on separate floors. I pointed this out and they were able to move us to the same floor on night 2. Also, I thought I got 2 rooms with 2 beds each, but the hotel told me I got a single full/queen bed on my reservation. This may have been a confusion with Booking.com /not sure. They were able to move us to rooms that had separable beds so we ended up with 2 small beds in each room after the first night.

I read almost every review before coming. I took everything in mind. I can confirm nothing was a problem. First of all I am a family that shared a double bed (toddler). We were all very happy! 1) excellent location= (truly never once needed to worry about a late dinner or a mart for waters which led you to never need any extra amenities like tea coffee machine or fridge which the place didn’t have. That’s okay we are in PARIS, and MONTMANTRE where life is outside! Since it’s smaller and upfront about size for room and bathroom, it really is for someone who wants to see things, or a solo traveller who doesn’t mind a non live in situation. 2) super friendly staff= from check in to check out. Everything was easy even the elevator use leaving stuff ( which we had a lot TRAVELLING for a month). In fact, any native or expat Parisian I told what area I stayed or where it was, one even knew of it and stayed there before moving there. She must have loved them from before and they were consistently nice because she asked if they remembered her from years ago. 3) very clean! = I have to say that even knowing it could be loud outside it was super quiet and easy to sleep early even on weekends (refuting some complaints but I’m from a bustling city ). I saw the maid daily and was so nice. We didn’t even need service daily we simply asked for towels. 4) breakfast available and we never needed it though. The cafe just next to it is so friendly and wonderful. Better coffee than the other coffee shops I tried around. However the staff was so nice to welcome me with a coffee day 1 even thought we opted out for adding breakfast to the reservation. 5) pay at property - made of really easy for us. Hope this helps for families especially, even people with an under 4 kid. Though any couple or family or solo review was really positive. I really don’t know what anyone ever complained about this place.

The hotel is within walking distance of just about everything. We took an hour+ to walk to Notre Dame and of course all over Montmartre. It is just off the high street and surrounded by good restaurants, cafes, and ice cream. The Metro is 3 minutes away. Room was quite adequate with comfortable bed; safe in room. They made up the bed everyday automatically, no tag on the door to avoid it.

It is a compact hotel; the lift small, the air conditioning controls are odd enough to take some time to understand. The high street is noisy to late hours.

LOATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Excellent location in Montmartre, with dozens of cafes, bistros, and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. Also just a few minutes' walk to: a pharmaie, several green grocers/markets, and shops offering cheese, wine/beer, meat/sausage, and chocolate. The room itself was "cozy"--aka small--but it was comfortabel and clean.With all the cafes nearby, we skipped the hotel breakfast, which seemed pricey for what was offered. The staff was cheerful and helpful, The hotel has an elevator--handy when recuperating from knee surgery. Also closely: dry cleaner and self-servuce laundry.

Nothing not to like!

Well, I liked my room very much. It was perfect for me. Very clean and the bed was super comfy. It was cold and I asked for extra blankets they gave me at the moment. The reception was so kind and cooperative. Room view was amazing. I enjoyed every moment of it. The area is so much alive and cozy with many restaurants around the corner. The metro is so near , so were public transportation. Starbucks is 5 minutes away. Coffee shops, pastries and cheese shops were all around the hotel. Loved it!

I expected to find a kettle, but I didn't. This was the only thing that didn't meet my expectation.

This hotel is an absolute gem! The location is perfect, at the very heart of beautiful Montmartre in Paris's northern 18th arrondissement, 15 minutes walk to Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur on its summit, and 5 minute walk to Moulin Rouge cabaret, on Boulevard de Clichy, which is literally down the road. The room had a lovely bathroom with a shower, comfortable beds, and provided little toiletries, as well as extra blankets and a fan, which was really helpful in the summer when the weather can get quite hot outside. It was nicely decorated, and super clean - sheets and towels changed everyday. It also has stairs and a small lift, so rooms are easily accessible for everyone and helpful if you have a heavy luggage. The hotel is surrounded by many lovely shops, bakeries and brasseries, so there is plenty of choices to have a morning coffee, lunch or a few drinks and dinner in the evening. There is also a supermarket down the road. The bus stops are a few minutes away, so is Metro, and it is really easy to get to all the main landmarks - about 40 minutes drive to the Eiffel Tour, about 25 to Notre-Dame cathedral. Staff is super helpful, and very friendly, the reception is open 24/7, the Wi-Fi is fast in every area, and there is an option to have breakfast and leave the luggage after you check out.

Location fantastic, staff helpful and polite. Room spacious and clean enough It's a very basic budget hotel- but for the price it was excellent. Breakfast was decent for the price and convenience and good service. Reception staff excellent and helpful and always someone present which is helpful. And secure.

Room decor was a little strange, weird colours and didnt match up! But not an issue just didnt look very atrractive! No facility for hot drink- no kettle and hot drink machine in reception broken which was inconvienet as it was so cold And no glasses to have drink of water even in room which was annoying and unusual!

Very friendly staff. Room, although not huge , was plenty big enough for our three night stay. There was a wardrobe, a desk and chair, bedside tables and a full sized bathroom. Things you dont take for granted in a Paris hotel, especially a two star one. The windows provide good soundproofing from the street noise. Great location close to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre with plenty of bars and restaurants close by. Easy metro connections close at hand.

As the temperatures were very high,airconditioning would have been good - but then it would have been a higher grade of hotel and probably much more expensive. We made the choice- so no reflection on the hotel.

Hotel Audrain is in a perfect location in Montmartre above a pub named Le Chinon. The reception staff on days and nights are both wonderful and accommodating. We stayed here 3 separate times and I cannot believe I didn't get their names! They were excellent. Our rooms were clean and bright. Each room we stayed in had huge double glass windows with wrought iron balcony and great views! Fresh bright breakfast room with a very attentive employee each morning serving croissants, baguette, fresh coffee, juice. The hotel is a few minutes walk from the metro station, Moulin Rouge and Sacre Coeur! Surrounded by lots of little shops, restaurants and bakeries! LOVE this place!

Be aware this is not the Hilton. It is clean and bright and offers a great stay. Love this place!
