The staff were extremely friendly and the room, despite being small in size, was always clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay plus extras like complimentary lemon water, cakes and toiletries. The hotel is in a quiet location, very close to local tube stations and staff were always helpful with directions or booking taxis.

The rooms are very small and are definitely not soundproof. We had very noisy neighbours and could hear them throughout our whole stay - we chose not to speak to reception but if we did, I know staff would’ve been more than happy to help. The hotel sits at the top of a very steep road in Montmartre, so may not be easily accessible to everyone.

We loved that this was far enough from the Eiffel Tower that we missed most of the big tours. We also loved that there was so much to see very close to our hotel, and not only did we feel very safe at all hours walking here, but we also truly loved the artisan shops in this area. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable with an outstanding breakfast.

We were only in Paris for a few days and we chose the right spot to spend our valuable time. This little gem located on a sloppy hill of Montmartre is simply adorable. The decor in the lobby and throughout the property is remarkable. We asked for a room that had a view and they exceeded our expectations! We were able to see the magnificent sights of Paris, including the Eiffel Tower, from the adorable balcony. Montmartre’s lovely restaurants, cafes, and major tourist attractions are all within walking distance. We are grateful to the housekeeper who cleaned the room spotless and hand delivered our toiletries. Hanafi has gone above and beyond to store our luggage and provide us with delicious welcome pastries during check-in. Adriana deserves our thanks for putting up with our antics and suggesting the bus ride to the Eiffel Tower for a little sightseeing on the way. Her anglais were tres bien. The manager was also very friendly and welcoming! I was impressed by the towels and linen. The bed is extremely comfortable and the comforter is luxurious. It's a great spot to crawl in at night and indulge in your favorite book.

If you don’t mind hiking up and down a hill, this is definitely for you.

Amazing hotel! Great location!

Great location, albeit in a very touristy neighborhood, with lots of places to eat, very close to the Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre and transportation, which is very important. If you love to walk, we found it easy to visit some great nearby neighborhoods and if you really love to walk (like we do) the Île de la Cité is in reach. We loved that that the street was pretty quiet at night. The room was clean and the perfect size for a couple. The literary concept was also appreciated, it connected our stay to the neighborhood and its history. We loved happening upon the Marcel Ayme statue in Monmarte and having that knowledge.

Our bathroom sink didn't drain, but that's on us, we didn't say anything to the staff. The bed also felt like it needed to be replaced. The foam had really lost its support and maybe it's time for an update there. It wasn't horrible, and once again we didn't say anything, but it's still true.

Perfect location for Montmartre and access to Blanche Metro station for exploring Paris with the family. We had a family apartment with a fridge and mini kitchen area so plenty of room for all of us to be in but still part of the hotel. Staff always asking if they can help with anything about our stay. Highly recommended for a short city break.

The hotel location in Montmartre is excellent, close to sites, restaurants and cafes. The room and hotel are very clean.

We booked a superior king room that was listed on bookings as having a size of 17 m². However, after staying in many hotels, I can confidently say that this room was not 17 m²; it felt more like 13 m². I even asked the receptionist if we were staying in the correct room. They confirmed we were the correct room. While the rooms are compact, they do have all the necessary features you need in the room.

The balcony is great, lovely to sit outside and have a glass of wine looking at the beautiful views

Sadly the bedding wasn’t up to the usual BW standard, it was very clean but there were small worn holes in both the duvet cover and the pillow cases, when you pay so much for the room it’s a bit disappointing to have holes in your duvet cover 😒. Also the breakfast wasn’t good, we had to wait for the girl to put out pastries, and she only put out a few at a time, the bacon was near raw, not cooked well at all and the scrambled eggs were lukewarm, but the cold choice was OK, for €19 it was a little sparse

The breakfast was good.. The location was fantastic for the metro .. the local bars ..The Moulin Rouge ! The hotel is immaculate. The staff very attentive. The beds very clean and comfortable.

The provision of English tea ..and maybe a small fridge.

Good sized room, plenty of space to move around (not cramped) and good sized wardrobe for short & longer stays. We had a high floor and it was a nice surprise to be able to see the top of the Eiffel Tower too! Perfect location close to so many bistros, cafes, restaurants, bars, sights etc.

If I had to change one thing, I would say there needs to be better lighting in the room. The main lights had a very low wattage, not great in the dark evenings! Traveled in November when the temperature were very cold & while the room was cosy, the AC/Heating unit was somewhat awkward to regulate for a consistent temperature (but nothing that impacted our stay).
