The room was recently redecorated and looked very clean and tidy. Bed is comfortable. Good size room. Window can be opened and allow air in the room, and its also soundproof when closed. Staff allowed me to leave my bag for a couple of hours after checking out, which was very nice of them.

There's no lift (as most of the hotels in Paris), if this is a deal breaker for you, maybe think of somewhere else. There is only one socket in the room, which is not ideal. The drain in shower was blocked and it was annoying to take shower due to the amount of water. I paid via booking app in front of Receptionist, but he still made me pay to him, which made me double pay (called my bank and they confirmed both transactions were done, which means i double paid my reservation). Obviously this is not fair and I'm hoping that Booking.com will refund me. As a matter of advice, watch out to your payment.

It was clean, quiet and dark at night. We could leave our bikes and the luggage we didn't need in the little luggage room downstairs. The location is perfect for Gare Saint-Lazare and the price for this area unbeatable. Exactly what we needed.

The photo is misleading. The furniture and everything are very old. There is only a shower and a little sink in the room. The toilet is in the hallway. The hairdryer was not working. We were in the 5 th floor with a tiny spiral staircase and handrail only on one side, so not for everyone easy to get up there. You have to be fit. No breakfast available.

First and foremost this a very basic hotel. If you plan only to sleep at night its perfect. I had taken a common toilet room wherein there is toilet at each floor but the bathroom is only on the 2nd floor. Also the room is small really small and had a basin and was located on the 6th floor. No lift so prepare for some heavy lift.

At night there seems to be some guys playing music loud.

I got what I paid for. I had asked about the layout re bathrooms etc before I booked. For the price and location I think it's a totally fair deal.

The staircase does feel a little scary coming down from the sixth floor, as it is a long continuous spiral, but there is no need to descend quickly - a person can take breaks!

This hotel is so underrated. I loved the old school interior. I had a really amazing Street/ roof view on the 6th floor. Good value,I would return :-)))

I read the comments before going, so I thought it was going to be quite a dirty and small place. Not at all. I chose a bedroom in the 6th floor (steps, no elevator) and it had pretty views and it was big. I had a simple bed, but enough for me. Also a sink in the bedroom. In each floor there is a toilet and shower is located in the 2nd floor. Also the subway (pink line) is 200 mts from hotel!

Poor decoration, but I won't complain for the price i payed :)

Good stay, the hotel was quiet and in a good location for me The room has a shower and sink but no toilet which i found very strange but the communal toilet was fine

No elevator

Perfect location. 2 mins to metro and buses. Shops and food around. 15 mins walk to Sacre Coeur. Nice room with street view. Shower in the room. Comfy bed. Friendly and helpful staff. This was our second stay here. We will be back.

I absolutely loved the single person top floor room, with a fab view of Paris roof tops! It’ll keep you fit walking up that spiral staircase too ;) Loved it!

one shower shared between the whole hotel was not practical, as I had to go up and down often because you never knew if someone was using it or not. Again, good fitness going up and down that spiral staircase.

Very cute hotel, very near to Cadet subway station, and a lively neighbourhood

No elevator but it was very cheap so I can't say much about that.
