Hotel des Batignolles is in a brilliant and undersung area, well connected to the city centre but with a really nice quirky neighbourhood feel. Our room over the central courtyard was nicely decorated, airy, quiet, compact but didn't feel cramped, and the Ortigia toiletries were a nice touch. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there were plenty of excellent local bakeries and cafés, as well as some standout restaurants in the evening. Hotel staff were welcoming, charming and helpful. We were well placed for both work commitments and visiting museums and galleries over the weekend. All made for a really enjoyable stay.

The hotel is located in a wonderful area. It’s small but very cozy. The rooms are quite compact, but we were lucky to get one on the ground floor with a large bathroom. The bathroom was great — clearly newly renovated and very clean. We would have preferred a bit more space in the room, especially since we had booked a double. Still, the overall atmosphere of the hotel and the exceptional friendliness of the staff more than made up for the size and the slightly dated furniture. It’s a 9-minute walk to the metro. The walk is easy and not tiring Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. I especially want to highlight the excellent breakfasts, which were offered at a relatively affordable price for Paris. The ingredients were high quality and everything was delicious. While the selection wasn’t as wide as a full buffet, everything that was served was of great quality. We definitely recommend this hotel!

Second consecutive year staying here with my two sons for just one night. Very welcoming staff, lovely suite, great space for three, plenty of pillows provided, blankets (not that we needed them), fab huge fan (great for those hot nights in the summer), large windows, great hairdryer, soaps and shampoos great quality. Double bed very comfy, great mattress, though the pull out sofa bed in the other part of our suite, was a bit squeaky when turning over during the night and not as comfortable as the double bed. Super clean throughout the whole room and bathroom. Very quiet during the night. Traffic is there in the morning but it's just a small side street but no bother for us at all. Fab area. I chose it because it is close to where I used to live in Paris (2000-2006). Very easy to get to via metro. A fantastic array of restaurants and cafés within steps of the hotel. It's really a lovely location. We'll be back next year.

The room was quite clean, although on the smaller side. It was perfect for what we needed, we were just there to sleep — and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was accommodating and always happy to help. You can leave your bags after checking out if you're planning to still spend that day in the city, they will keep them in a locked room for you. The hotel is within walking distance from a metro station that connects to the Orly Airport, which was very convenient. Overall I would recommend it!

There is no elevator, which is common in Paris, just keep in mind when booking that the cheaper rooms will most likely be at the top of the building.

This was a very affordable hotel but they took the time to add little touches that made it special. The decor was unique and beautiful so it really added to the romance of staying in Paris. Additionally, while this hotel is close to tourist areas (walking distance to Pigalle and Montmartre) and the metro, the neighbourhood itself is not touristy, so you really get that Paris feel. The room was very clean, and the bed was cozy and comfortable.

This can’t really be helped, but please note there is no elevator. We were on the 4th floor and after a day of walking around Paris that climb could feel very high.

This hotel. I have so much to say, and all of it is positive. The room went beyond my expectations. STUNNING! The mattress was unbelievably comfortable and I haven’t slept the same since returning home. If you stay here you’re surrounded by incredible boutiques, amazing restaurants and only a 10-15 minute walk to the Moulin Rouge. The area is also a perfect for a starting point to explore the entire city, a 40 minute walk to the Champs Elysees? Easy! You’re in paris, it doesn’t even feel like its 40 minutes! (or get the metro which is 5 minutes away, each to their own) It’s bright, airy, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were so incredibly accommodating and kind. The room made my mother’s birthday trip a dream come true, and the trip really wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without this hotel. I can’t thank you guys enough for how kind you were to both me and my mother. We will most definitely be back again next year for another amazing stay!!

Located in a really nice neighbourhood. I also really liked the decor - it felt very cosy. The staff were great and they had our rooms ready before the official check in time.

Our room did not have any air conditioning - this might not a big deal in autumn/winter, but it might be a problem in summer. We can open windows, but we didn’t feel comfortable keeping it open all night. It would have been helpful if it was possible to lock the window while partially open. It was a bit difficult falling asleep because the room was quite warm and there wasn’t a lot of fresh air circulating the room.

Our one-night stay at Hôtel des Batignolles in Paris was very pleasant. The excellent location with Bus 66 directly outside made getting to the city center quick and easy. Our room, though compact, was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff, particularly Mr. Afzal, were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The luggage storage facility was also a convenient bonus.

No elevator and air conditioner, but you know that already.

Hotel Des Batignolles offers a charming and cozy atmosphere that’s hard to find in chain hotels. Nestled in the heart of Paris, this privately owned gem feels more like a home than a hotel, with its warm decor and personal touches. Unlike large chain hotels, Hotel Des Batignolles has unique furnishings in each room, locally sourced breakfast options, and a welcoming, personable staff that goes out of their way to make each guest feel at home. If you’re looking for an authentic Parisian experience with a relaxed and intimate vibe, this hotel is a perfect choice.

The receptionist was very nice and welcoming. We checked in late and checked out early in the morning because of our flight back home and he was very nice to reserve us a taxi for transfer from the hotel to the bus station from which we went to the airport. The room was clean, enough space for our luggage. The bathroom is huge, equipped with everything you need. The bed was also very comfortable, we fell asleep instantly. The location was great for us since it was close to a car rental company we used.

Don't have anything that we didn't like. It might be far from center for some (around 2,5km), but for us this was not an issue since we walked 20+km every day.
