La Foundation — a place where Paris feels different. I was traveling solo — and this was the perfect choice. The hotel is tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood, far from the tourist chaos, yet close to everything that matters. It’s exactly what you want when you’re looking for a balance between inspiration and calm. The room was stylish down to the smallest detail: minimalistic yet tasteful. Housekeeping twice a day (!) — coming back to the room always felt like a small luxury. I loved the little touches — perfectly made bed, warm lighting, a scent you wish you could bottle up and take home. The staff? Wonderful. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful without being over the top. They know how to make you feel welcome without overwhelming you. The spa deserves its own spotlight. Everything is new, spotless, beautifully designed. The pool feels like something out of a movie — the kind of place where you forget you’re in the middle of a busy city. Pure bliss after a long day out. Breakfast isn’t about quantity — it’s about quality and ease. Simple, quick, and satisfying. Exactly what I needed before a day of meetings or exploring. And then — the Eiffel Tower view. Just wow. These are the little details that make a trip unforgettable. Of course, I had to check out the rooftop terrace. The weather didn’t cooperate for a proper sunset drink, but the staff still let me go up, take photos, and enjoy the view. The atmosphere? Pure magic. La Foundation isn’t just a hotel. It’s a state of mind — a perfect hideaway for when you want to be alone, but still feel at the heart of Paris.

This hotel is such a gem: it is located in a nice, safe, and trendy area of Paris with only a 20-30 minute walk to the heart of the city; it has a spectacular rooftop with a view, a cutting-edge equipped gym with a climbing wall, and even an indoor pool! The staff is lovely and very welcoming and helpful, and the design is warm and cozy (and it's brand new, so everything is fresh). The size of the room is perfect, with a lot of sunlight and proper lighting in the bathroom. They are currently serving breakfast in a temporary location in a bistro downstairs, so don't get disappointed if it doesn't meet your standards. Hopefully, soon they will fully sort it out, offering much more variety and an à la carte menu. Btw, I had 3 dinners in the bistro, and the food was really good with reasonable prices. I am definitely coming back, and with pleasure recommend it to my friends and family 💜

Breakfast is only served at 7.30 am, and the gym is only open at 7 am, which is a bit late, in my opinion, but hopefully, they are just getting started and will improve it soon. Also, it would be great if the hotel guests could reserve tables on the rooftop outside of the walk-in policy.

I didn’t like that wasn’t policy before booking about holding deposit fee Our room we just missed a shower gel . Actually it was empty It’s happened weird thing . I was naked was getting to take shower . Hotel cleaner just stepped in to our room and asked if we need a towels in French I was shocked that without knocking came in It wasn’t nice 10 floor terrace nice just at evening just to see view But nothing special Don’t dress up

Great location. Amazing decor.

Online it sounded amazing and worth the price tag. But the pool is mainly used by the health club and was far from relaxing - very crowded, with everyone swimming serious laps. Plus, the rooftop was closed for a private event on the night that we were banking on using it to see the fireworks, plus only 2 seats at the bar let you see the Eiffel Tower. The hotel feels like it is only just getting established - empty restaurant spaces, and new staff who couldn’t help much.

The personnel was very friendly and helpful. It was a brand new hotel, and you could see that. The room was spacious, especially for Paris, and clean. The contents of the mini bar were included in the stay! Water and coffee are plenty available. The swimming pool is stunning, as is the view from the rooftop bar.

If I have to name something: the cocktails are quite expensive (18-22 euros).

It’s a nice hotel, but they don’t quite live up to their five stars. Breakfast started late (0730) and took a little bit more time than anticipated to be served. No room service menus and no room service available outside restaurant hours.

The property is beautiful and the pool is amazing. Very rare in Paris !
