The location is prime. The hotel is only within 13 mins walking distance to Gare du Nord where we need to catch the train out and lies at the foot of Montmarte, with lots of supermarkets, nice cafes,restaurants and halal eateries nearby. The metro is also 2 mins away and the bus runs straight to the street where the hotel is. We chose the triple room for the 3 of us and it was quite comfortable. The hotel also has an elevator, so it was a huge plus for us with our heavy luggages. There were also enough plug sockets for the 3 of us to recharge our electrical equipments at the same time. The staffs were also very courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is also easy to find and the atmosphere is quiet since it is at the back of the street. Would definitely recommend to others. P/s: read some unsavory details about the neighbourhood in 18th arrondisement being a bit sketchy before staying there, but having stayed there for 3 nights, I can say there was nothing to worry about. Just make sure you don't walk about town too late into the night and avoid weird characters from miles away. Having said that, I would defininitely stay there again.

Location: We initially had concerns about the safety of the location, but it turned out to be the best choice we could have made. The area was not only safe but also bustling with tourists during the daytime, giving it a lively and welcoming atmosphere. It was conveniently situated near key attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Room: The rooms were exceptionally comfortable and very clean. From the moment we arrived, it was evident that great care was taken to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. The housekeeping staff provided daily service, ensuring the rooms were kept tidy and orderly throughout our stay. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed and contributed greatly to our overall positive experience. Service: The receptionists were incredibly helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to assist with any queries or requests we had, making us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Their warm and professional demeanor added a personal touch to our stay and greatly enhanced our overall experience.

The room was really lovely, so spacious. The decor was lovely, fresh and modern. Great location with good transport, metros are located within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from. The staff were friendly and helpful. If we come back to Paris we would definitely think about staying here again.

A couple of the nights there were very loud noises, we couldn't make out if it was someone in the room above us, was walking up and down a lot. This was about midnight. But nevertheless we still slept well. Also the front door was not easy to lock, it looked like they may have been original doors from the era of the building?

Very convenient location, within walking distance of Gare du Nord and many places of interest, particularly Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur. The room was spacious, with a wardrobe, bedside tables on each side of the bed, a table and two chairs, plenty of electric sockets, a kettle and tea and coffee. There is central heating, and also a large electric fan. The bathroom featured a hip-bath with a shower, a heated towel-rail and a hair-dryer. The room was cleaned every day. The staff were pleasant and helpful and we were able to leave our luggage in a locked storage room after we checked out, before catching our train.

The Wi-Fi was not very reliable and kept cutting out. The walls are thin, so any noise made by neighbours can be heard clearly.

We stayed in Hotel Luxia for two nights during the Paris Olympics 2024. The staff were very friendly and good humoured throughout. When we first went up to the room, we didn't notice the lift, as it's quite small, but that's Parisian elevators for you! Anyway, after all the great Parisian food we could do with the extra exercise, so didn't mind the four flights of stairs. The hotel is centrally located in the bustling area of Montmartre, just at the bottom of the hill down from the famous Basilica of the Sacré-Cœur, so if you're looking for some more climbing, and fantastic views, you have some great opportunities quite literally on your doorstep. We didn't have breakfast, but when we initially got to the hotel at about 9am to drop off our bags, it looked quite nice. Our room was quiet, and the blinds did a good job of keeping the sunlight out in the morning. The shower was excellent. The 3-bed room we stayed in was fairly big, and there was an ample selection of tea and coffee in the room.

Air Conditioning would have been a nice bonus, but to be honest the fan and keeping the windows open did a good enough job.

We stayed here for 4 nights for a trip to Paris. Conveniently located walking distance from the Eurostar train station and less than 5 minute walk from subway and Montmartre. Ideal for exploring the city. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Asked for extra towels and received them immediately. 24hr reception and staff speaks English well. Room (we had a room facing the street on the 5th floor, with private bathroom) was clean and surprisingly large. Except for the bathroom - that is really small. For the price this hotel exceeded our expectations.

The location is both excellent and concerning. Pros: Very close to Sacre Coeur, metros, groceries, eateries, some nice older buildings nearby. Cons: the two metro lines nearby are considered shady at nights. However, the station we used most was very close and the three of us felt safe coming home late at night. The usual pickpocket risks as on all metro lines. Overall, the area is full of graffiti on store fronts, some trash on the streets. Outstanding staff. Flexible luggage storage before and after. We could check in early. Room very clean. Bathroom spacious and clean, shower well functioning. We had room 37, it had three twin beds and enough room for all of us. Comfortable beds and pillows, ample towels. Flooring carpeted and windows faced the inner courtyard, which was basic but not unattractive. The room stayed mostly cool, especially when using the fan. I think the rooms with hard flooring and facing the front must be more charming. The price was very good considering it was high season and alternatives. Overall, exceeded our expectations and we were very happy with this choice.

Room was a good size, well equipped, very clean and comfy. Bed was a good size with a warm duvet. The room was warm, the shower very powerful and hot. The lift was a real bonus. Hotel is very easy to find and well placed for Sacre Coeur and surroundings and very close to a metro stop at Anvers and close to Gare du Nord. Staff were fine and helpful. Tea and coffee provided with a kettle. Hairdryer also provided.

Pillows were a bit hard, shower cubicle a bit neat if you are on the beamy side. It was a bit noisy outside in the evening and the sound proofing in the room wasn't very good - lots of noise from the room above - sounded like it was being rearranged. Although close to Sacre Coeur, this is not the best area in Paris and it's wise to be cautious - pickpockets are out and about.

The place was pretty close by the metro station- Anvers, which made life very easy as we could go to all the major tourists attractions easily, thanks to a great metro network of Paris, where one can literally go from any corner of the city to the other. The best part is that the hotel is not very far from Gare du Nord, from where one can very easily go to both the major airports- CDG and Orly in Paris by train. The hotel is at a walking distance from Monmarte, from where one can have a great view of the city from a hill top. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel have a 24x7 reception.
